Them, I Must Bring

In this passage, one finds words of comfort and conflict. Jesus condemned the religious leaders as a "thief, a "wolf" and a "hireling". He said they "steal", "kill", "destroy" and "scatter" the sheep. In this chaos, Jesus entered as "the good shepherd" to "give his life for the sheep". Elect Jews and Gentiles He said, "I must bring". So effectual is He, that they "shall never perish" or be pulled from His hand.
