When someone says “Happy New Year!”, What is meant? That the New Year is just a different administration of the previous year? No. Yet that is exactly how some understand the New Testament, as merely a different administration of the Old Testament. It’s not really new at all in the normal sense of the word.
What's so new about the New Testament? Three different ways of answering this question are found in Covenant Theology, Dispensational Theology and New Covenant Theology. These three are explained and contrasted in this lesson.

the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our
fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:''
