The Life of Elisha (Part 3)

God's provision for us is in direct correlation to our faith. The widow is in a desperate financial situation and turns to Elisha. Her faith was based on the revelation of God through the prophet Elisha. This is a great example of God meeting our needs in a way that brings glory to only Him and no one else. We learn that faith is not positive thinking but based upon the Word of God. Faith is not faith unless God spoke it first.
