Scripture: Romans 12:12

Thesis: Paul challenges us with what does Gospel living consist of, and if you notice, living the Gospel brings us to realm that is beyond our self-centered reality.

1. Rejoicing in Hope
   a. Rejoicing is not being giddy or cheerful
   b. Ongoing disposition
   c. Being glad in the hope of salvation 1 th 5:8/"My hope is in the LORD" Ps 39:7

2. Enduring in affliction
   a. To persevere in tribulation.
   b. Stand your ground
   c. Stay the course
   e. Its purpose is to forge a proven character. Rom 5:3-5 & James 1

3. Persevering in prayer
   a. persisting in prayer, attaching yourself to praying, devoting yourselves to, spending time in prayer, being faithful praying
   b. Pray short/Pray always 1 Th 5:17
   c. Praise, thank, petitions, pleading and confess
   d. Pray for everything
