Doorkeepers

The divisions of the doorkeepers are laid out for the Temple. They each had certain jobs to carry out, all as service to the Lord. God values all kinds of service to Him, both spiritual and practical. There is no task so small that God does not value. This passage also reminds us of Jesus the Door and Good Shepherd, and also of the importance of guarding our hearts and thoughts.
