Seeking life

Spiritual life comes from God and from God only. When that life is at a low ebb, it is to God that we must go in order to have life stirred up afresh.In Psalm 119.81-88, the man of God is at a low ebb. He is fainting and failing, persecuted and afflicted, almost at an end.Here we see his request: "Revive me!" Here is the measure of his request: "according to your lovingkindness." Finally, there is the reason for his request: "that I may keep the testimony of your mouth."
