"Sow not among thorns," says the prophet Jeremiah. "Give not that which is holy to dogs ... cast not your pearls before swine," says our Saviour.
It requires some discernment to give out God's Truth. People who are not prepared to receive it, and who hate it, will turn on the messenger EVERY TIME!
God's truth has no fixed place in the heart of a rebel against Heaven's Courts. Since God's salvation is a Holy operation of His Spirit, and since SALVATION is a GIFT, not an OFFER, we need to bathe our witnessing with tears for the accompanying power of God's Spirit.
What is absent today is old-time Bible Holy Spirit conviction falling upon people and bringing them to the place of being able to receive the Living Words of Life! Oh, for a Heaven-sent REVIVAL!

Clarity I appreciate the clarity brought to this message. Where did the quote, "The mysteries of the souls converse with god are not to be lightly divulged in common talk," originate? Thank you for a wonderful sermon.

Great Sermon! Excellent sermon with so much wisdom
preached by Brother Barnard who has
now been with the Lord for almost forty
years. Oh, that we had more like him
today! So much truth is taught; we
cannot discuss the deep truths of the
Word of God with hardly anyone. Thank
God that He has revealed these precious
truths to me. God help me that I will
not cast the pearls before the swine.
Thank God for introducing this precious
man to me through Brother Henry Mahan.
