Miraculously, at some point in our life God gave us the ability to see and believe the Gospel of Salvation. And what is the first thing that we do after we have become saved? We testify to the world what great things God has done for us.
The Shepherd, The Door, The Porter When Jesus spoke of the Shepherd and the Door, he clearly spoke of himself with "I am the door" verses 7 and 9. But "to him the porter openeth"---definite article for "the porter" as for "the shepherd, and for "the door." But who is the Porter who openeth for the prophesied Shepherd and was not the Porter also prophesied in the OT? And although not clearly mentioned by Pastor Chompff, I cannot but believe the porter/forerunner none other than the same person who proclaimed in John 1, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." Singular, definite articles---no need for mistaken identity! But as Pastor Chompff says,Jesus spoke parables that they which claimed to see, "might be made blind" (John 9:39)and the blind cannot see no matter how obvious.
Pastor Chompff was born on October 26, 1930 in Malang, Indonesia. His wife's name is Gysbarta and they have 2 children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He holds a B.S. / PHD in Chemical Engineering which he received from the Technological School of Delft in the Netherlands....
