Here is an early sermon by Pastor Mahan, delivered in his church in Ashland KY, THIRTEENTH ST. BAPTIST, on May 11, 1958. This is a message and a worship service that will bless the heart, if time is given to it.
An interesting background: The audio is taken from a 7-inch reel tape which my family received from Mahan the week after it was preached. We have kept this reel, and subsequent dubs to cassette for all those years, and what a blessing has been received from numerous hearings. The heart is touched, not only by the faithful preaching of this passage, but also the strains of 'LORD, I'M COMING HOME,' as Mr. Mahan joins three other men in a quartet.
God bless you as you listen, and as you encourage others to experience that springtime evening over 52 years ago as a rather young (31 years old) preacher proclaims God's message with power. WWF
