Great Sermon! This sermon was special due to the fact that you lived in Iran, know their culture, language, etc. How refreshing to see and hear such faithful preaching, etc. from you. I've already shared your name, location, etc. with a number of family and friends! A number of my ancestors came here to the USA from County Cork, Ireland! May our Dear Lord continue to bless your work there as well as Sermon Audio, so privileged and thankful for Sermon Audio as well!
Great Sermon! How grateful I am for what I heard from this young man and servant of Christ! It came at a timely juncture. Thank you SA staff for recommending it. The Way, the Truth, and the Life is the ONLY Mediator between God and man. The Eternal Son of God who became man for us in the fullness of time: two natures in one person for ever. Hallelujah what a Savior!
After the Lord had reminded me in Jas 1:2-5  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
After that instruction by His word and Spirit he returned my thoughts to Wisdom Personified from whom I was seeking this portion of Christ and for what reason? For the glory of God, who desires man the creature's enjoyment of Himself in the Person of the Mediator,Heb 4:14-16
Thank you brother Pooyan Mehrshahi. Your labours in the Lord were not in vain. I will be praying for you while returning my gratitude to Christ for your timely reminder.

Blessed testimony. Blessed testimony of saving grace only in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus seeking sinners in every nation and among every people.

Great Sermon! I first heard Pooyan on the United Prayer Zoom meeting. I love hearing how the Lord works in the hearts of Muslims! When I first heard you were from Iran, I thought, he must have a God story! ..and tonight I found your testimony you did in 2007. OH how good God is! It was so touching to hear the work of God in your life!
I come from a very Calvinistic background. When I left that church, I was accused many times of 'leaving the truth...'!
Anyone who leaves that denomination is accused of 'leaving the truth...'. But if you ask what the truth is ... you get the impression that that church is the truth! The truth in Jesus as you preached in this sermon is not the truth we openly heard. It was so good to hear this testimony and I pray you will be used of God to show many The Truth, and The Way and The Life! To God be all the honour and glory!

More PLEASE :))) Truly lifts the spirits to hear such testimonies. Many today think Muslims would never respond to the Gospel, but like any faith, those we see in the media are but a small section of radical believers who are lost in their deception. Others like Pooyan show that the Lord can absolutely take anyone in any circumstances regardless of their current beliefs, and change their heart and life incredibly. Pooyan, if you read this, PLEASE provide even more updates on your testimony when you get opportunities, and continue to speak God's awesome Word into the Church. Many blessings for your ministry.
Great Sermon! I came into contact with Pooyan when he was working with the Trinitarian Bible Society and it was a joy to hear some while later that he was studying with the FP church! It is wonderful to hear his testimony and I will endeavour to remember him in prayer as he begins his pastoral work in England in what is becoming in parts a waste howling wilderness. May the Lord be pleased send 'many' such Pooyans.

A true inspiration This testimony by someone from Iran is a true inspiration and shows the power of God to save anyone, anywhere in the world.
Pooyan Mehrshahi is the pastor of Providence Baptist Chapel, Cheltenham UK, since 2007. He is a native of Iran. Beside his pastoral ministry, Pastor Mehrshahi is involved in Bible translation with the Trinitarian Bible Society, and ministry for Persian (Farsi) speakers through...
