CONCLUSION: God’s ultimate rejection consists in being delivered over to what our hearts lust. What a scary thought! On the Cross, Jesus bore the impurity, detestable and despicable acts of those He came to save. The Gospel story is the assurance, that because Jesus suffered God’s rejection, we won’t if we are found in Him. “Behold the Lamb of God, that takes away the sin of the world”
