Most Christians can be backed into a corner with two or three questions. Ask them what they believe about any subject, then ask them why they believe what they believe. By this point you'll have them where you want them since they would likely have said they believe what they believe because the Bible says so. Now comes the third and final question... Why do you choose to believe the Bible? At this point you will either get stammering and stuttering, or something worse.
This message answers this most pivotal of questions in a winsome, cogent, memorable way.
Great Sermon! This sermon is a great source of encouragement. Thank you

I love this sermon! I'm so glad to hear someone combat the idiocy people spout today as reasons for believing the Bible is essentially a book of symbolism, allegory and fables; that it isn't essentially true. They seem to feel that if you're educated, you can't believe Christianity, and must believe evolution. It wasn't until I was in college as a Biology major studying the cell, genetics, and physics that I realized evolution, the missing link, etc. couldn't be true. Just the probability of nucleotides alone is 1 x 10 the 80th power. Statistically impossible. And that's just one thing. The big bang theory violates the laws of thermodynamics. My point is if people REALLY studied science, they'd have to believe God created the earth. Scientists are now claiming aliens seeded the planet for this same reason. The science doesn't add up. The math does not work and they know it. So don't feel guilty about not believing the science. Even the scientists don't really believe evolution.
After many years of study, I started to believe the Bible, not only because it worked for me, but because the science is false. When people claim they believe the science, encourage them to really investigate it like it did. Where's the missing link? Encourage them to find ANY scientific proof. There isn't any.

Great Sermon! I use this message in all my Bible classes once a year, it never gets old. I had a student this year quote the entire phrase Dr. Voddie gives from memory to his classmates after having not heard it since the beginning of last school year.

Great Sermon! This is an excellent sermon for everyone to listen to. Dr. Baucham does an excellent job showing why the Bible can be trusted and believed. PRAISE GOD!
Great Sermon! I have listened to this sermon 6 times in the past few months and several of my friends have listened to it more than once. Voddie has so tightly packed truth in this sermon that it takes a while to fully unpack it.

Great Sermon! That's why it says the Word of God is sharper than a double edged sword dividing soul and spirit...

Great Sermon! Hi! The reference Bible: 2 Peter 1:16-20
should include verse 21 ...that's what
Voddie read up to.

One of my all-time favorite Sermons! It's refreshing to hear an unashamed defence of the truth of the bible using logic, the Word, and history. I firmly believed the Bible before I heard this sermon, but nor I know the best answer I can give, and I can defend why.

Blessed! Wow, I was thoroughly blessed by this sermon. Thank you Lord, for speaking through your servant Pastor Voddie

Faith yes, Logic too! A must-hear for Christians who have fallen into the trap that their "religion" is a neat thing for them, but not necessarily the truth. Pastor Baucham blows that right out of the water with a logic that the "wise" of this world would have to recognize as thought out and even educated and fair. You can debate whether or not you WANT to believe, but you can not debate your own set of truths. Pastor Baucham's short lesson is a great proof of this.
Great Sermon! This is another great sermon by Mr. Baucham. The doctrine is very solid and practical. How can one deny the validity of the Bible with the truths and explanations given in this sermon?

Great Sermon! Excellent sermon and great explanation of WHY I believe the Bible. Way to let the Lord use you Bro. Voodie
