Faith is the opposite of fear. Jesus cited the disciples' fear as evidence of their lack of faith. Where you find fear, faith is absent. When you find faith, fear is gone. In their fear, the disciples made too much of the problem and too little of God's unlimited provision. They viewed themselves as on the brink of disaster. Someone has said: "God remembers your past, ordains your future and gives you the power and wisdom you need for today." Just trust Him. Today is the day. Trust God for today. He has given us manna for today. He teaches us to pray for our daily bread. Be still my soul!
