Do you know what time it is? It is time to praise the Lord. Our praise is not based on how we feel, it is based on Who He is. We should praise the Lord with loud voices and joyful abandon. There are also times to be silent before the Lord. We need to guard against emotionalism where we get excited about being excited and not excited about the Lord. However, there is something wrong with us if we do not share with others the good news and the excitement of the gospel. It is time to expect criticism. If we follow Jesus we can expect criticism. But the critics cannot stop the inevitable. God will get the job done. It is also time to weep. There are times when it is a shame not to weep. We should pray with tears for the lost and for the persecuted. We need to recognize what time it is and be determined to know and do what the Lord is up to.
