“ The island of Kos ” Brother, I've visited Kos. It's true , the boat that Paul sailed on could easily have beat a straight course running down wind to Kos...a northerly wind always blows onto the north coast of the island. While on the island I swam out from the north coast and was able to see lot's and lots of ancient pottery lying strewen across the sea bed.... presumably from ship being blown only the reefs...I even picked up a femur bone lying on the sea bed...and fragments of clay storage vessels.
