This series in our Tuesday Evening Bible Study is on the very important doctrine of Spiritual Union and Communion with Christ, as historically taught in the Christian Church. Tonight's lesson explores the “filling of the Holy Spirit” as it has been variously viewed in history and as it is asserted from Scripture. As with many aspect of the Holy Spirit there has been controversy surrounding this “filling,” and my main purpose is to rightly connect the filling of the Holy Spirit with the believer's union with Christ.
A course notebook for this series is in preparation and will become available at the conclusion of the course.
