Many of us have spoken of suffering for Christ, but for some of us it was all quite abstract.
In Canada in recent weeks it has become much real and tangible for a number of us. Just yesterday I received a phone call from the authorities warning me of serious consequences if I proceed with worship services on the Lord's Day. I was grateful for the opportunity to speak of the coming day of Judgment and my allegiance to Jesus Christ, who is the only Head and King of the Church; and I remain sure that God's purposes cannot be thwarted. The increase of His kingdom will know no end, and out of even this He will get glory!
While many of us have been spared so far, others are facing real practical consequences for their obedience to Christ. But our burden and preoccupation is not with our civil liberties or our own personal welfare. Rather, we are heartsick over a Church that is desperately compromised. It is time to stand up for Jesus.
In this video I ask you to stand with us. How do you that? 1. Pray! 2. Gather for worship with or without the permission of civil authorities. 3. Sign our declaration.
* The statement itself was drafted by myself (ARP), Rev. Benjamin Hicks (FRC) and Yasha Fard (RPCAP) along with input from Rev. Rob McCurley (FCC) and Dr. Michael Thiessen (FEB).
Featuring a sermon puts it on the front page of the site and is the most effective way to bring this sermon to the attention of thousands including all mobile platforms + newsletter.
Text-Featuring a sermon is a less expensive way to bring this sermon to the attention of thousands on the right bar with optional newsletter inclusion. As low as $30/day.
Great Sermon! The Church does not exist by permission of the civil authorities, but by the authority of God. Therefore the Church does not need civil authority permission to meet, for it is already authorized by God to do so.
'There Is No Church To Gather' There's really not much Church left. After Covid it's a Ghost Town. Before Covid it was a Ghost Town also, as the churches are full of the Unregenerate, all of them.

Amen Thank you. We’ve been praying for your church since contacting you via email a couple of weeks ago. Since then, our 18 year old son who’s a member of thr rpcna has been banned from attending in person worship at the RPCNA church where he is in college... for a conviction against wearing a mask. My husband is an elder at our church, and wrote that session a long letter, using many of the same arguments you made in a sermon a few months ago. It was ignored and the session continues to ban him. As well as chastise for attending another church because that church doesn’t sing exclusively psalms. Talk about straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel. In the meantime, our session, where he is a member, has ignored the issue. I’m in complete disbelief at the state of the reformed church in America. I thank God for your ministry, because the churches around us refuse to listen or preach these great truths.

Shared. Yesterday, in our afternoon meeting, we watched this video, I translated it into Romanian to our little assemble, and after that we all prayed for you and for your church.

No other way! No other way, brother! No other way! May the Lord help you and those 3 pastors, and us here, as well, to do only His will. There can be peace only in His will!
