Abraham's intercession for Lot and his family who were living in the midst of Sodom and the Lord's gracious reply provide the great assurance that the Lord's people have an impact on their communities far beyond their numbers. Had there been only ten righteous people in Sodom, the Lord said that He would not have destroyed it for the sake of those ten. Here is the encouragement the people of God need to persevere in their walk with God and service to Christ even in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.
Thought provoking and faith-affirming This sermon points out aspects that are often overlooked regarding the influence of the Lord's people. Very helpful exposition, and a comfort and great encouragement to those who feel they cannot contribute in ministry as much as they would wish.
