As some prominent Christians question the central role of the Atonement for the Christian message it is our responsibility, like the Bereans, to check out whether what they say is true. This book collects the thoughts of some of the churches most respected teachers from both sides of the Atlantic.
Atonement is a collection of essays by 7 of the great theologian/pastors of the church. From John Gerstner to J.I. Packer, this book affirms the Biblical and historic Christian position of the atonement: that on the cross, our Lord bore the judicial wrath of His father in the place of elect sinners to save them from everlasting punishment. It will remind readers again of the amazing love of our Father - and the amazing price our Savior paid for us.
