Many Christians equate being innocent of evil with being ignorant of evil. Our desire to come out from among evil and be separate from it gets confused with being blind to that evil. Then it is believed that ignorance of evil and its tactics are wrongly equated with achieving holiness.
Great Sermon! My friend told me about a church she had attended where the music minister was verbally abusive. Members would "pat the hand" of the abused and apologetically say, "Don't be hurt by what he said, he's a blunt, very direct speaking person. That's just who he is."
Excellent Warnings! PASTOR CRIPPEN has an excellent series with this being the 10th sermon. His straightforward delivery from the Word admonishes us to be diligent; not to ignore or 'choose' to ignore evil.
Pastor Crippen exhorts us to educate our young people to be wise to the evil ways and thus protecting them. So often, we want to 'hide' evil from our youth... we are not helping them and are only setting them up for future heartache or severe tragedy.
