"...When all that generation died, another generation stepped up who didn't know the Lord nor the work which He had done for their people. Then that generation, who didn't know the Lord nor what He had done, did evil in the sight of the Lord and served everything but Him: they abandoned the things of God and followed the ways of the ungodly..." We find one generation foolishly assumed that the next generation knew and understood and treasured what they knew... but they didn't. The previous generation dropped the ball and neglected to drive these truths down the court of life. They recklessly gave the win to the enemy of the next generation. Remember this... God has no grandchildren. Redeeming grace is a gift given because of blood but it's not passed down because of a bloodline — those who inherit the kingdom of God must be born from above and made a child of God, through the blood of Jesus not the faith of their parents. God has only children that He has made new creations in Christ Jesus. • I encourage you to help your family and friends cultivate their gifts but NEVER at the expense of His favor, presence and wisdom. Talents are gifts, but, without His grace, that's all they'll ever have is a natural gift, yet, with nothing supernatural to celebrate to the glory of God. But when a talent is woven, in and out...
