Paul at the time was speaking to a Greek/Roman culture that knew no bounds and lacked any hint of restraint in regards to fulfilling the desires of their flesh. Why is abstinence and restraint important to a culture? Can you name a culture that has ever ascended in it's quality of life while living without sexual boundaries? What sort of love does the world embrace as having value and what does God desire for us? Listen and learn that in the midst of God setting boundaries on this area of our lives He gives us freedom from the bondage of sexual immorality.
