Great Sermon! I was shocked and distraught to learn of Dr. Campbell's death this morning as I came once more to hear of my Jesus drawn to life that I might find Him once more lifting up my head through the voice and gift of this dear pastor, who has been my pastor also in the Reformation to which our Lord lately brought me, here in Texas. I love Point and am heart broken I am mourning this great loss to the Church and have not ceased to pray for his family and Church You are in my heart and prayers We can only humble ourselves under the good will of our Sovereign Father and with to see how He makes the tragic loss work for our salvation. As Dr Campbel told us time and again Our Lord is Altogether Lovely.

Great Sermon! Although I live on the mainland, I personally know a number of people who were saddened to hear of I D Campbell's death. While I was listening to a prayer meeting on the internet from aanother denomination, when the minister announced the news of I D Campbell's death you could hear a pin drop.

Great Sermon! The 'ultimate assurance' from this godly servant of the his saviour
is typical of the teaching that by the Grace of God he ministered consistently to the Church all his life and now in his death through this sermon ministers the 'ultimate comfort to the multitude in the Church militant who mourn his passing. We extend our sympathy to Anne and family , Lily, Meg, Alma and their families

Great Sermon! I was shocked to hear of Ian's passing Hard to find great passionate preaching like his. I was always ministered to listening to his sermons and this one is no exception.

A truely exceptional preacher. This is the last known recording of Iain's preaching, before he was taken so tragically from us just 10 days later. We have lost one the best, not only in the Free Church of Scotland, but the wider Church as a whole.
I thank God that through the ministry of Sermonaudio.com, we will have his sermons to listen to for many years to come. May God give us the hearing ear to listen to what He has to say through the preaching of Iain's sermons.

Great Sermon! Absolutely stunned and saddened to hear this - I just listened to this sermon a few days ago and was excited thinking about future sermons - may the good Lord bless and keep his family in perfect peace - I lost a son just a few years younger than dr Campbell and there will be a hole in my heart until I see him again with Jesus - that is my ultimate assurance

'A faithful servant now with His Lord and Saviour' If this was Dr Campbell's last sermon it is a fitting tribute and remebrancer to his ministry, Christian faith and testimony. Have we that same 'ultimate assurance' that if we die to day, we will be in Glory, in Heaven, with Christ for all eternity? Our ultimate need?

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Rev Dr Iain D Campbell, minister of Point/Knock Free Church. Last Sunday Dr Campbell was transferred from the Western Isles Hospital to Glasgow where he passed away early this morning. He was 53...We extend our deepest and prayerful sympathies to Iain’s wife, Anne, their children: Iain, Stephen and Emily, his mother, Lily, together with the wider family.

Great Sermon! "and of the place where once he was he shall no more be known"
A voice deeply loved by so many, now quiet, and at rest in the haven he longed to see.
A sore day for the Isle of Lewis and the wider Church.
