In Ephesians 6:11-14, Paul uses variations of the word “stand” four times. This is clearly the heart of the instruction. We are to stand our ground and not retreat in the face of the devil’s schemes that he launches in the evil day. The enemy wants us to retreat back into our old way of living but we must hold the line in the strength of the Lord with His provision.
