I. Another Use for Tongues – Judgment 14:21-25
A. The Sign of tongues
1. They were a sign that Messiah had come and that the NT age of fulfillment was now here.
2. They were used, at least in Corinth – in the same way prophesy was used – so since God was speaking to the congregation through tongues – it was vital these tongues be interpreted – otherwise -- no profit.
3. But now, Paul gives another use of tongues – and he goes back into the OT. Isaiah 28:9-18a
