The foundation of praise is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. The framework of praise is found in rightly relating to Jesus Christ. We rightly relate to Him when we keep in mind the acronym TAG: Think, Adore, and Glorify.
Let’s admit it. Some of us don’t think about the Lord Jesus like we should. However, people are plentiful who do not give the Lord Jesus a second thought. They never think of Him. If we truly lived in a Christian nation, the citizens of that nation would think of Jesus Christ.
Our prayer this week should include the idea of asking God to bring shame into our hearts for the way we take Him for granted …for our thankless, covetous spirits before Him. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. The work of self-righteous activists accomplishes nothing.
Let’s not ever forget how much Jesus Love us. Don’t be deceived about any notion of Him passing over you. He will not. He is confronting you right now about the need to deal with your sin. Did you know God has a plan for permanent forgiveness when it comes to you?
