We've spent the last two weeks reviewing the theology of Hebrews. Hebrews teaches that everything about Jesus and the New Covenant He mediated by His blood are new and better. But the Christian life is not a system of abstract & isolated beliefs. What you believe guides how you live. From what you believe about the reality of God to what you believe about sexual identity. The New Testamen writers understood that, and always applied their doctrines to our practices. Hebrews is no different. Like other New Testament letters, Hebrews can be divided into two parts: theology (1:1 - 10:18) and practice (10:19 - 13:25). These two parts are not divorced from each other; Hebrews' theology clearly shapes its instructions. After all, a new and better theology should lead to a new and better life! This morning brings us to our final look at Hebrews, and I'd like us to remember…
Three lessons from Hebrews' new and better lifestyle. 1. Faith (Chap 11) 2. Holiness (Chap 12) 3. Church (Chap 10 & 13)
