As we continue our series on the church, our focus is the centrality of the event of gathered worship on the Lord's Day, through Psalm 26:8, "LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells." How do you cultivate love for God. How do you maximize and leverage the worship of God in the church. How do you engage in worship? How important it is for you to prioritize it, anticipate it, be prepared for it? And if you have children, have you been diligent to help your children experience it the way God intended.

Deceived By Sin And Hardened Against God The Lord designed us with the need for daily encouragement. To be an encourager, and to receive encouragement. We are also to encourage one another every day as if this is The Day, The Day of His glorious return. He intentionally did not give us The Day of His return but placed us on our “tippy toes” as if every day is to be lived as if this is The Day. If we do not encourage daily we will be hardened by sins deceitfulness. This has been my experience in Calvinistic Churches and Arminian Churches. We have been Hardened as The Lord forewarned us. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin - Hebrews 3:13 (ESV)But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. (NIV) You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God (NLT)

Monday thru Saturday What we do Monday thru Saturday determines what we do Sunday. If we are meditating on His Word day and night (Psalm 1) and encouraging each other day and night (Hebrews 3:13) then we will be prepared for Maximal Worship Sunday day and night. I’ve only encountered the Cookie Cutter Church filled with Hi Bye Sunday Christians. So Monday thru Saturday the Church falls silent and no one is prepared for Sunday nor anticipating it's arrival. If you show them Psalm 1 and Hebrews 3:13 they say you are taking that out of context. The Churches are committed to making God a Sunday morning “thing”. I can’t wait for that Eternal Sabbath. If you have a Monday thru Saturday Church culminating in a Maximal Sunday Worship then you should Praise The Lord because you have a foretaste of Heaven. Pray for us here in NY it’s lean, it’s hi bye Sunday morning and don’t bother us the rest of the week and we promise not to bother you.
