He attended a masters program at Northwest Theological Seminary while working full time as a 20 year member of the Microsoft Visual C++ Team. Steve's proven leadership in the software industry transfers well to the gospel ministry. He starting as an engineer, grew into a manager of technology, people, and projects, culminating as an executive consulting architect advising heads of industry. Seminary was merely a launching platform for lifelong learning habits learned in the software industry. Steve ramped up on his theological studies since retiring from Microsoft in 2013. While Steve's formal training is from the protestant reformed tradition, he has transitioned towards a more broad evangelicalism to reach the poor and lost, ordained as an independent pastor, minister of the Word, teacher, and church planter. Steve married Svetlana, a television journalist who was raised in militant atheism and Marxist ideologies, converting to Christianity soon after emigrating from the former Soviet Union to the US in the late 1990's. Since then she has been devoted to prayer and evangelism. Steve and Svetlana were married in 2000, and since then have traveled the Western US sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. | more | less
