The title of my message today is The World's Peace Symbol. The World's Peace Symbol. We're going to do some rebuking and exposing today, because the book of Ephesians tells us to expose the unfruitful works of darkness. Reprove them, is what he says. I want you to look at chapter 6, verse 23. Our text reads, Peace be to the brethren. Peace be to the brethren. And that is good because I'm going to tell you what, if you're not one of the brethren, you're missing some peace. And love with faith from the hippies. God forbid. From the UN. From the New Age Movement. No, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. If you want peace, that's where you're going to get it, right there. I guarantee it. Verse 24, Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in what? in sincerity. Amen. Father, bless this sermon today. Thank you for those you brought in church, Lord. Bless us and help us and keep us and give us good understanding today in the name of Jesus. Amen. Well, we need to start here today and define peace. What is peace? I believe we understand, but the Bible, you know, defines its words for us in several ways. One way is by contrast. One way is by contrast. In other words, if you want to know what a word means, the Bible shows you the opposite of it, and that shows you what the word means. That's one way it defines its word. So let's look at Deuteronomy chapter 20. And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make what? War against thee, then thou shalt besiege it. Well, there we go. Peace is the absence of what? War. It's contrasted to war. Peace is the opposite of war. In fact, you can see the root appease in the word peace. Appease. To stop the conflict. Stop the strife. Now, the Bible expands upon this definition in 2 Chronicles 15. In those times, there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but what? Great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. Okay, there you go. Peace is in contrast to great vexation. A nation was destroyed of nation and city of city, for God did vex them with all what? What's the word? Adversity. Alright, so according to our Bible, peace. is the absence of war in a land, in a church, in your own heart. It's the absence of vexation and adversity. Peace is a large, multifaceted subject in the Bible. We're just going to take a look at it. and give you an overview of peace in the Bible. And you know, the first place we need to start when we deal with peace is up here in chapter 6. It says, Peace be to the brethren. They already have some peace, and He's praying for them to have more peace. If you're one of the brethren, if you're saved in eternity, in one sense you already have peace. But there's even more peace that God has for you. He has abundant blessings, does He not? And I'm going to show you that the first place we're going to start is with the peace that accompanies eternal salvation. And I'm going to tell you something, the peace sign of the world, the wicked peace sign, it does not represent eternal salvation in Jesus Christ. Do you understand? That hippie movement that brought it did not come with the gospel. telling you that you can be saved, and that you have sinned, and that you're at war with God, and that through Jesus and His blood, you can be saved in eternity. That is not what that wicked peace sign represents. But I'm going to tell you, the first place you should start the foundation of all peace is through the Prince of Peace, and that is Jesus Christ. Romans 5 says, therefore being justified, does it say by works? No, it says by faith by simply believing that you're saved by the grace and Merits of Jesus Christ on the cross we have what? We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Which means if you're not justified by faith, if you're under the law, if you're trying to be justified by your work, if you think you're good enough to be saved in eternity, you do not have peace with God. God in all of His perfection and holiness is a consuming fire and He is eternally angry with you and no matter What you say, though hand joined in hand, though you try to praise yourself and hypnotize yourself and congratulate and applaud yourself, I'm telling you, you are lost. And you are damned. And you are under condemnation. And you are headed for an eternal lake of fire. And God, who cannot say that 2 plus 2 is 3, God cannot lie. So therefore, God, in all of His perfection and glory, cannot call your sin pure. God had to bring down. He did it out of His love. He brought down His Son upon the cross to save you in all eternity. And if you are not justified by faith, you're at war with God, and you have an eternal conflict with God. So I'm telling you, what this world needs is peace with God. What every individual needs is peace with God. And do not, do not, Take for granted this wonderful peace we have as Christians. Sometimes you look out in the world and it's easy to despise them and say, why are they the way they are? And I'm going to tell you, they don't have peace with God. Do you understand what it would be like to live in this world not knowing where you're going to spend eternity? But after salvation, after this foundational peace, God wants you to walk in peace with Him. And you say, if I already have peace, why do I need more peace? Well, it's like the peace of a father. A son might not be at peace with his father, though he is related to his father. You're listening? The prodigal was out of step with his father. He did not have peace with his father, though he was related to the father. So I'm telling you that as a child of God, you have peace in one sense and an eternal sense of justification, but you need to walk in fellowship. You need to walk so you can have fullness of peace and joy in your Christian life. Do you understand that? And I'm going to tell you, you know that Satan has a counterfeit peace for the world, so they will not believe in Jesus. He has a counterfeit religion. He comes and says all ways are the path to God, you know. Obama and George Bush, they tell you, you know, every way leads to salvation, you know. And I'm going to tell you that's not true. There's only one name given under heaven by which we must be saved. That's Jesus. There's no other way. So this false peace of the world is wrong. It's evil. It's a counterfeit. But you know, even for Christians, the devil has a counterfeit peace for you because God wants you to walk in fullness of joy. He wants you to walk in fullness of peace. And I'm going to tell you something. The devil's here to give you a counterfeit peace. The counterfeit peace is made up of a form of godliness. It likes to feel religious, but it's a life of sin. And sin will not lead to peace because sorrow comes with sin. Pleasures of sin for a season, but it brings sorrow. It brings judgment. And so the world turns to drunkenness now. The world turns to drugs. The world turns to constant distractions. And it's all to hide their inner conflict and the inner rebellion that they have against God. They try to mask the fact that they're guilty before God, and they have this inner rebellion. In the 1960s, the so-called peace symbol... I've got something to say today. In the 1960s, the so-called peace symbol was used as a symbol of sin and drugs and everything that is against God. It simply utilized an upside-down bent cross as a picture of the fact that they were offering peace by rejecting true Christianity. So it's the world's counterfeit way of peace through Eastern mysticism, New Age movement, drugs, fornication. And how interesting that they will not let that symbol die. If you walk into some of these stores that love to support the homosexual movement like Target and all of these department stores, and you just take a glance, not that you'd ever think in a minute that you'd buy something from that store, but you walk in there just to see what they have, and you look in the children's sections, and there is nothing but plastic polyester clothes that fit so tight, they don't have sleeves, so you're basically dressing little girls up like harlots. But what I notice, other than that, is the whole, everywhere you look, there is the peace symbol. Even on junior high clothes, even on little elementary clothes, you have this peace symbol. made popular by Disney and Miley Cyrus and all of that. It's the peace symbol and it's been sold to this generation, repackaged, the same message. And, of course, people that wear it and become role models for the children, God forbid, You interview them and they say, Oh, I believe all ways lead to God. I love Buddhism. I mean, they're living out the lifestyle that that symbol represents. Now, You go to Craigslist and try to sell something. There's a little peace symbol up there in the corner. You know, it's everywhere. It's saturating our culture today. But I'm going to tell you this, the philosophy behind that peace symbol, whether people are wearing the peace symbol or not, they are living out the philosophy of Satan's counterfeit peace. Do you understand that? They might as well put it on them. Now, if you read a little bit on the Internet, They'll tell you that the peace symbol was supposedly designed by Gerald Holtham under a man named Bertrand Russell in 1958. It's important you want to circle Bertrand Russell because in 1958 they were working to stop nuclear war. That was their stated agenda. We want to stop nuclear war. So the story goes that he commissioned Gerald Holtham and they worked together to design this symbol of peace to speak of disarmament. Now, what you need to know is that Russell was a member of the Fabian Society. He was what we call a socialist pushing for world government. He wanted a one world government. And to give you a little bit of information about Russell, in 1927, he wrote an article called, Why I am not a Christian. So this fella was blind. He was wicked. And of course, in 1950, the world awarded him the Nobel Prize in literature. Isn't that nice? But the world is in darkness. The Bible said Lucifer is the god of this world. The Bible said this whole world lieth in wickedness. The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life. The Bible says be not a friend of this world. God says whatsoever man esteems is an abomination to him. Y'all listening? So it's no wonder they want to praise this fellow who's pushing for world government. Now, while they are probably not giving us the whole story. Even Holtham, who supposedly designed the peace symbol, admits, listen to me, admits that it is a symbol of dark despair. And I'm telling you, where you see Jesus Christ in faith, Where you see the Holy Bible inspired and preserved with hope of eternal life, all of the promises through the blood, I'm telling you, that leads to assurance, hope, joy, and true peace. But this world system, this hippie way of living, This fleshly, ungodly way, carnal way of living leads to depression. And if you will remember, God forbid, if you ever walked in the ways of this world, you will know it leads to despair. That prodigal came home for a reason. He came home for a reason. There is despair and darkness and depression out there in the world. And they mask it by happiness and jingles and commercials and all of this flash. But I'm going to tell you what, behind it all, behind that inches and cakes of makeup that they're trying to hide the guilt that they have, I'm going to tell you there is despair. There is darkness. And you can see it in their music. It's all dark and despair. No hope. Nihilism. But even Holtham, according to Independent News, Whatever, Halsem also wrote to Hugh Brock, editor of Peace News, explaining the genesis of his idea in greater depth. Quote, I was in despair, he said. What kind of despair? Deep despair. Listen, I drew myself. Okay, so you're telling me that the peace symbol is a picture of somebody depressed in despair? What a nice thing to put on your little children. The representative of an individual in despair with his hands, palms, outstretched outwards and what? Downwards. What did even the supposed, even if you buy their story, the supposed originator of the peace symbol says? It's a picture of somebody with their hands reaching down to hell. It's a picture of despair. And they're putting this upon our children today. And even if you adopt their story, it's a picture of hell. It's a picture of death. It's a picture of despair. John 14 Jesus says peace I leave with you My peace I give unto you. Why do you say my peace? Not as the world giveth. Praise God! The Lord's peace is reaching up to heaven toward God. And I'm going to tell you something, not so you can be God, but I tell you, it is so you can know the true and only God and walk in His ways which bring joy, which brings truth. I'm going to tell you, peace is found in the Lord Jesus, not as the world giveth. The world's peace, no matter how much they shout, no matter how much they laugh in that jesting spirit, I'm going to tell you, their peace is nothing more than depression and despair. And look at all of their leaders, they're comedians. They're singers, they're poets. Look at them. They all, nine times out of ten, unless God leaves them just to grow old as a judgment, I'm going to tell you what, they die and they commit suicide. And it's a horrible life of despair. Bertrand Russell, though, they need to get their story straight. He wrote to somebody. and says, I am afraid that I cannot follow your argument that the ND badge is a death symbol. It was invented by a member of our movement. Yeah, well, you need to ask the fellow that supposedly invented it in your quote, movement, because he says it's a death symbol. How about that? In fact, the poor man said, when I die, don't you put that peace symbol on my grave? When I die, don't you put that on my grave. And if you do, you put it right side up. Don't you put it upside down. But he died and they put it upside down. BBC News tells us in March 2008, in the 50th year anniversary of the peace symbol, it says American pacifist Ken Colesban, who corresponded with Mr. Holden until his death in 1985, says the designer came to regret the connection of despair and had wanted the sign inverted. How about that? So, if there was nothing else going on, if you knew nothing else other than these facts, it's already a symbol of despair and death. And Jesus said, you'll know them by their fruits. What is the fruit of the hippie movement? What is the fruit of that lifestyle? What is the fruit of the world's peace? Death, always. I tell you, the Bible says that Satan comes to steal. He is a thief. He's a murderer from the beginning. But Jesus comes to give life everlasting. He's the bread of life, the water of life. He's the light of the world. And I'm telling you, you've got Jesus, which is light, and Satan, which is darkness. And you've got to decide which one you're going to walk in, folks. But when you understand what Russell was involved in, When you understand, listen now, when you understand that he was involved in a secret society advocating a new world order. When you understand it, he was in a society with men like H.G. Wells. And H.G. Wells said, we're going to bring about this one world government and we're going to do it through propaganda and deception. And H.G. Wells says, if the propaganda stops working, things are going to get bloody. If it stops working, we're going to use more violent means. But H.G. Wells says, we will bring forth this world government. Bertrand Russell was walking with men like this that said, we're bringing a world government at any cost. Now Bertrand Russell wrote that he wants a world without God. He wants a world without private property. He wants a world where the family unit is broken up. He wants a world where there is no food independence and you are dependent upon the government for their food and whatever they call food. And they can starve you anytime they see fit. When you understand that this is Bertrand Russell, the authority behind the peace symbol, I'm going to tell you, there's probably even more behind it. And when I began to look at it, I discovered there's a lot more behind it that people are not letting, they're not understanding. I think it would do you well if I read a little bit from Bertrand Russell. Not only to show you the evil spiritual philosophies behind the peace symbol, but to show you what the world's peace, what their counterfeit peace is leading toward, okay? I want to show you what train you're on if you're not walking with the true Jesus. Bertrand Russell in 1952, a few years before they came up supposedly with the peace symbol, wrote a book A writing called The Impact of Science on Society. I want you to listen. Bertrand Russell says the populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated. Well, that's enough right there. It's over. If I read nothing else, it's telling you we're not going to let the public, they're going to believe things and they don't even know how they came to believe them. You get on the street and you say, what do you believe about Jesus? What do you believe about God? What do you believe about homosexuality? What do you believe about these things? And they don't even know where their convictions are coming from. Isn't that a shame? I think there's Christians all around the country that do not know where their beliefs are coming from. They have no idea why they believe what they believe. But these people know. These people know. The H.G. Wells and Bertrand Russells and such like, they know. When the technique has been perfected, oh, they're still working on perfecting it, aren't they? Every government that has been in charge of education for a generation will be able to control its subjects securely, without the need of armies or policemen. So, they say they're working upon this propaganda method. Remember, Freud's nephew, who wrote propaganda, said the same thing. And H.G. Wells said the same thing. And remember, Potter, the first humanist church of America, said that we're using education and in one generation with our public school system, we will be able to control the world. Where all children go to school, and all schools are controlled by the government, That's a state church. The authorities can close the minds of the young to everything contrary to official orthodoxy. That's pretty powerful, isn't it? Printing is impossible without paper, and all paper belongs to the state. Broadcasting and cinema are equally public monopolies. That's their new world government. All the researches of psycho Analysis, behaviorism and biochemistry will be brought into play. So they're going to sit around and manipulate, that's what they're doing now, manipulate behavior, trying to use drugs, trying to use chemistry, trying to use all of these things, their psychobabble to influence and control people. If you don't think they're controlling people with drugs in ways we don't even understand, but a lot of it's pretty simple. They've basically medicated. They've medicated the children of America. They've medicated a whole generation. They've medicated, you know, look around at your family members and people that you know that are on psych drugs already, and their minds have been dulled. They have been lulled to sleep. This was all predicted by these fellas decades ago. It's the Soma that Huxley wrote about. All the boys and girls, y'all interested? Y'all listening? All the boys and girls will learn from an early age to be what is called cooperative. Isn't that something? What are they training your children to do? Cooperate. Remember last week's sermon about the feminizing of Christianity? Cooperative. That means all those masculine qualities must be rooted out of all children. To do exactly what everybody is doing. There's the point. Everybody's doing it. Wasn't that the slogan of the 1960s? One of their slogans? Isn't that the whole point? If everybody else does it, I'm supposed to do it? And I'm so afraid to be different? Isn't that what's stopping fundamental churches all across America? As preachers try to instill, listen to me, wake up, God's culture. As preachers try to tell you, Bible culture, God's culture. This is what God was. What do women say? What do children say? But I'll be different. I won't be like everybody else. And I'll say it again, the leader of the church of Satan says they'll be afraid not to watch TV. And he laughed and cackled and said, we've got it set up now that if you're not watching primetime television, you feel left out. It's propaganda, folks. You don't have a TV. You're not going to sit and watch. At least look at it on your laptop. All the boys and girls will learn from an early age. You see that? To do exactly what everybody's doing. Now, don't miss this. We'll combine from a very, very early age to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable. We will get control of the food supply to create a passive cooperative generation. All right, I'll hurry along. We'll inject them with vaccines and whatever else we can get in them. We'll make sure the food they're eating is filled with BPA and other things to make them passive. There it is. He sounds like Manly P. Hall, the great Luciferic occultist who said the same things. Any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy. because the government will tell them that they are so. I do not pretend that birth control is the only way in which population can be kept from increasing. There are others which one must suppose opponents of birth control would prefer. War, as I remarked a moment ago, has hitherto been disappointing in this respect, but perhaps bacterial war may prove effective. If a black death could spread through the world once in every generation, survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full. The state of affairs might be somewhat unpleasant, but what of it? A scientific world society cannot be stable unless there is world government. By selective breeding, the congenital differences between rulers and ruled will increase until they become almost a different species. So they're going to use diet, See, I've been telling you for 20 years, I've been telling you, wake up, use common sense, and be one of the intelligent ones that know how to read and think when you put something in your mouth. You won't put junk in your lawnmower, you won't put junk in your car, but you'll go around saying, I don't think it's going to hurt my body. What type of imbecile believes such a thing as that? And what I'm trying to tell you is they're trying to turn you into a bunch of cattle that year after year, you become what they want you to become. A breed of dying, sick, weak people with no determination, no strength, no energy, and that's exactly what they want. On the internet, some try to show, well, we think Russell was being a little sarcastic here. I don't really think he was calling for black death if everybody doesn't go along with it. You know, when you mix this with the fellas he was walking with, H.G. Wells, that said, if propaganda doesn't work, we'll have to shed blood. I mean, I think this is starting to sound pretty serious. All right, folks, this is the father of the peace sign. When you see that peace sign, the end of private property, the end of the family, the end of God in the home, man being controlled by psychology and drugs, the food supply being taken away, population control by killing people. There's peace. There's peace. That's horrible, isn't it? That's horrible. I mean, when you really look at it, it has a form of godliness, but really it's the devil's peace, isn't it? That's what the devil would call peace. And that's exactly what Antichrist is going to come and implement. Ezekiel 13, because even because they have seduced my people saying peace. It's a seduction, isn't it? It's a seduction. But we can't have the population just growing in these record numbers. And, hey people, you could put the whole population of the world in the state of Texas. Do you understand that? They don't teach you that in public school, do they? You say, well, it looks very crowded. Well, I know, because they're teaching people through propaganda that they must get in the city or they'll miss something. So everybody flocks to these cities and creates these cesspools. It's seduction. God calls their peace seduction. Daniel 8, the Antichrist shall magnify himself in his heart and by what? Peace shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the prince of princes, but he shall be broken without hand. So he's going to be against Jesus. He's going to exalt himself and he's going to come saying, peace, peace, but Jesus will take care of him. Amen. Hey, look at 1 Thessalonians 5, for when they shall say what? Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them. Let's look at the real meaning of the world's peace symbol. The first thing I'd like to say is it likely shares a relationship to the swastika in history, which was used by the Theosophist and the Nazis. The swastika was the most sacred sign of the Druids. It probably had a wider range. It's used by American Indians down in Mexico, South America, North America. It's used all over the world. In every culture you go, there is this symbol, the swastika. Blavatsky says the swastika means man can become God. And when you look at the occultist, they say that symbol means the Godhead of man. What you do find out, though, is there were various forms of it, but all related. So I would put out, I think it'd be a good paper at least, a good argument for somebody to show the connection between the peace sign and the swastika. I did notice that a sign, if you take a P and put an X at the bottom, not exactly the peace sign, but we're getting pretty close here. Just take a P, put an X at the bottom of it. It appears on the coin of Emperor Decius. Now, who was he? Wikipedia says in January 250, he passed an imperial edict that says that every inhabitant of the empire will sacrifice before the magistrates to the gods for their what? For the safety of the empire. Wow. We have to be sure you're not an extremist. We have to be sure you're not one of these people. And we have no way of knowing now whether you're one of these extremists, but if you'll do this sacrifice, it'll show us that you're one of us. You see how it's working now? You see what they're going to go toward? People are already crying out. How do we know if somebody's going to be one of these crazy people? Well, they're going to start coming up with tests. You must show your allegiance to our system. And we'll give you a certificate. that says you're sane, you're sane. The certificate would testify the loyalty to the ancestral gods. Of course, Christian followers were put to death and executed because they would not sacrifice. And on the coin of that emperor was this symbol, this P with an X at the bottom. Well, does the P sign then? Is it a relative of that? Does it speak of death to Christians? I believe it does. I believe it's saying, all who do not follow our peace agenda, our one world government, will be put to death. I believe so. Anciently, an eye with an X at the bottom, okay, we're starting to get closer now, was one way of writing the name of Horus, the Egyptian sun god. Thomas Wilson, the swastika, the earliest known symbol in 1896, curator of the Department of Prehistoric Anthropology, U.S. National Museum, says, in the estimation of certain writers, the swastika has been respectively the emblem of Zeus, of Baal, of Sun, of the Sun God. It spread itself particularly over the whole world in various but related forms. So, really, The peace symbol, I believe, is related to an ancient symbol that stands for Satan, that stands for Baal, that stands for all that is against God. However, Robert Welch of American Opinion, responding to the hippie movement in 1970, says in 711 A.D., The Muslim hordes crossed into Spain to establish their Moorish kingdom. The shields of the invaders were decorated with the inverted broken cross. So, it's an anti-Christian symbol down through the centuries. Inverting the cross, turning it upside down and up. It's anti-God, anti-Christian. So, when you look at all of this, put all this together, it's related to a symbol that means man is God. It's associated with Antichrist, or that which is against Christianity. It's associated with the worship of Baal. And then, long before, or decades before Bertrand Russell supposedly commissioned The peace symbol, it was used by Nazis in their death notices, who also used the swastika. Kathy Burns, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated, sums up, I'm not giving any new information at the moment, I'm just summing up some pieces of things that people have discovered. Kathy Burns says, known as the peace sign throughout the 1960s and into the present day, this symbol is the Teutonic ruin of death. There it is, death again, right? 1950's peace advocate Gerald Holton may have been commissioned by communist sympathizer Bertrand Russell to design a symbol to unite leftist peace marchers in 1958. It is clear that either Holton or Russell deemed the Teutonic Neuronic Cross as the appropriate symbol for their cause. So, what we see so far is The supposed originator of the symbol says it means despair. It's associated with symbols that speak of man becoming God, and Antichrist, and the worship of Baal. It's associated with death by the Nazis. But the more I researched this, and the more I began to look at it, I realized that there's a bigger picture here that ends in the same place. When you look at that symbol, that's the peace symbol. If you see that, children, never buy a shirt or anything with that on there because it represents the cultism and all that is against God in the big picture. But just in the basic, it represents fornication and drugs and a rebellious lifestyle. If you do none of this that I'm telling you right now, there's enough to associate it with sin to know no Christian ought to be walking around with that symbol on them. But I want you to see the symbol now. As you look at it, you start seeing, okay, the foot of a bird. You see an upside-down cross. But you also see a tree. If somebody was going to draw a tree, In a stick figure, in the easiest way that you could, it would be like this. This is an inverted tree. Manly P. Hall, in the Secret Teaching of All Ages in 1928, an encyclopedic outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Kabbalistic, and Rosicrucian symbolic philosophy, put it this way. While not commenting upon the peace sign, I want you to hear what he says. The occult mysteries taught that the divine energies from the gods descended upon the top of the pyramid, which was likened to a what? Inverted tree with his branches where below and its roots at the apex or cap or top from this inverted tree the divine wisdom is Disseminated by streaming down the diverging sides and radiating throughout all the world there it is right here in the occult manual and upside down tree speaks of This energy this occult energy of Satan is being spread throughout all the world. And I'm telling you that there are people in the 1960s that knew plainly what this meant. It's a symbol for peace. Because when they say visualize world peace, they mean use occult visualization. And that if we all get together and think positive thoughts, we will bring about, we will spread this New Age energy and create world peace in this world through the occult energies of Satan. He goes on to say, the medieval Kabbalists represented creation as a tree with its roots in the reality of spirit and its branches in the illusion of tangible existence. The tree of the Kabbalah was therefore inverted with its roots in heaven and its branches upon the earth. There it is, roots in heaven, branches upon the earth. Madame Blavatsky notes that the Great Pyramid was considered simply a symbol of this inverted tree. The early fathers sometimes used the tree to symbolize Christ. Okay, so according to Manley P. Hall, an inverted tree is an inverted cross. Number one. Number two, it speaks of the wisdom of occultism being spread throughout all the world. And Jesus was crucified on a cross, but he's also crucified on a what? A tree! Alright, now it all makes sense. It is an upside-down cross. It's an upside-down tree. What is the upside-down tree? What does it mean? Every occult, all occult literature all around the world, through witches and occultists and alchemists and all of that, they all speak of the upside-down tree as their symbol. It's an upside-down cross, the upside-down tree, and it speaks of man becoming God. And what did the swastika mean? Man becoming God. Here you can see a peace sign, and it's actually drawn as a tree. And people that do that, they understand specifically what you have here. It's just a tree. It's an upside-down tree. Jesus was crucified on a tree. It's an upside-down cross and all that it represents. For example, Joseph Campbell, in Mythic Magic of 1974, says, John Rysebreck, in the 14th century, employs the inverted tree in writing of the spiritual efforts of the mystic. Alright, so what does the tree represent? It represents blanking out your mind. What did the mystics of the early centuries believe? They believed all was God, I'm God, and I need to realize it by blanking out my mind. So what does the peace sign represent? It represents man blanking out his mind. What did the hippies come to do? Give you a ritualistic Repetitious. As Led Zeppelin described, we're just going to play the same notes over and over and over, just like the Hindu mantras. You'll blank out your mind. You'll start banging your head. You'll do drugs. And before you know it, you'll be in an altered state of consciousness. And really, you'll become devil possessed. It's the mystical way of trying to be taken over by the devils. Also, In the chief medieval text of the Kabbalah, the Zohar, in 1280, we are told of an inverted tree. In the Buddhist legend, the whole sense of the teaching of the inverted tree is that one should penetrate that guarded gate and discover the tree. What did Hendrick say? Be experienced. Discover it. The tree of the waking to what? Omniscience. Alright. In occultism, what does the upside down tree mean? It means you realizing your Godhood. Man becoming God. Blanking out your mind. There it is. Proverbs 3 says, My son, forget not my law, but let thy heart keep my commandment. For length of days and long life and what? Peace shall they add to thee. Life and peace is the tree of life, God's wisdom. But if you turn it upside down, what do you get? You get death and despair. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are what? Peace. She is a what? Tree of life to them that lay hold upon her. Happy is everyone that retaineth her. Okay, if you turn the tree of life upside down, all her paths are ways of destruction and misery. She is a tree of death to them that lay upon her. If you go away from the tree of life, happy is everyone that retaineth her. No, sad and miserable and depressed will be everybody that doesn't follow God's way. I'm going to tell you something. God has a way that's a tree of life. And all of God's ways, all of God's wisdom will lead to happiness. Do you understand that? You're going to be happy. It might seem miserable. There's a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. The devil's ways seem like, I'll be happy if I follow his way. I tell you, you'll be happy if you do what God says. You know what? Just do what God says because He says it. And I tell you, you'll know, you'll find that happiness and joy. Jesus promises it. Interestingly, down throughout the centuries, the inverted tree was a charm used by the shamans. They believed you had to have the inverted tree, and that allows the devils to come. They want to see that cross turned upside down. They want to see that tree of life flipped upside down, don't they? It was praised by Carl Jung, the great occultist, and seen throughout paganism throughout the centuries. Manly P.R. goes ahead, Manly P. Hall, and says, the two side branches represent unbalance. Uh-oh, now I'm starting to get it. I'm starting to get it. He says, the science of equilibrium is the key, turn me up, of occult science. Unbalanced forces perish in the void. In the void. When you see a peace sign, You have each side that represents unbalance. And then you've got the middle, which represents the uniting of unbalanced forces. The tree showing the goal of Godhood. But wait a minute now. How is man going to realize this Godhood? Well, you go back to the Gnostic writings, you go back to the Kabbalah, you go back to this wicked stuff, and they tell you that the Theosophists revived in the 1800s that it's through androgyny that man gets back to Godhood. The thing that is divided must be united. They say man was originally androgynous, united. Male and female, like God is, they believe, bisexual. And they claim that division, the fall happened, and you had the distinction between man and woman. And they say what's going to bring back the world of unity and peace is when we get rid of male and female, and each person becomes united in a bisexual androgynous being. What does the tree represent? Unbalanced forces coming together in one androgynous being. The homosexual movement, folks, is part of a cultism. It didn't happen accidentally. It's part of the peace hippie movement that said we must become homosexual. In Kabbalah that Madonna follows, or did, I think she still does, the inverted tree is the androgynous man. It's showing the man out of unity with himself and then finally becoming androgynous and reaching Godhood. Remember, I read to you some Gnostic texts from the early centuries, and they said the kingdom of heaven is going to come when women renounce the dress of their sex. Why is the kingdom of heaven coming when women renounce the dress of their sex? Because the distinction, listen to me, the distinction between male and female will be gone. And you must get rid of the distinction between male and female. The complete works of Marcel Duchamp in 1969 says, reminiscent of the inverted cosmic tree and of the inverted tree's what? Bisexual what? Symbolism. What does the tree represent? It represents man becoming androgynous. I might add that it's seen in the bisexual Egyptian sphinx. It's seen in the Baphomet of the Masons, which is half male, half female, and it's at the root of all occultism. You don't need to study a whole bunch of wicked junk to know occultism is simply perverting what God has made separate. If God says He made them male and female, and God knows how to unite them together without each one losing their individual distinctions, Satan comes and says, we're going to unite both male and female together by letting the man put on a woman's shirt, wear long hair, and just basically be a woman, and we're going to masculinize the women. And what we're going to do is we're going to end up with this godhood and peace It's going to come to America through androgyny because we must bring society back to what they believe is the original creation before their fall. So David L. Spess says the tree is found in all of the early mystics and it speaks of man becoming God through becoming a hermaphrodite. This is why the peace sign is associated with homosexuality. Now, if you think that there has not really been a connection, perhaps if we go back to 1973 at one of the heights of the hippie movement, and see some newspaper headlines, maybe you'll change your mind. She knew that this is a picture of the ultimate bisexual androgyny that's coming. The password is androgyny to get into her office. She says she believes that society is moving, albeit slowly, toward the androgynous goal. It will prepare both male and female students for the androgynous world that's coming. Little girls being raised as boys, little boys being raised as girls. In the same newspaper, I thought it was interesting, it said the Aquarian Age points to the balance being tipped so that the whole nation goes through a cleansing process, according to astrologer Charles House, but we'll come to grips with ourselves. So astrology says, well, we're going to unite this thing. It's moving toward it right now, where man is no longer manly, and woman is no longer womanly, and homosexuality and bisexuality is the new thing. We're moving toward it. But what they're saying, and what they've always said, is to really bring it to pass, there's going to have to be bloodshed. And there's going to be this cleansing that's going to come to pass. Of course, the peace symbol was seen in 1930 by Rudolf Koch in his book of signs, and he called it a downward fork that represents death, and he called it the witch's foot, or raven's foot, or crow's foot, and it all comes full circle when you read Hope B. Wernes in the Continuum Encyclopedia of Animal Symbolism in 2006. Crows and ravens were early symbols of the great goddess in her destructive, death-dealing aspect. The crow's foot called witch's foot was a death sign. So, really, When you see the peace sign, it's the tree of life turned upside down. It's the cross turned upside down. It's man becoming God. It is the distinction between male and female being erased so that they become one androgynous being represented by the tree. It's an upside down cross or it's a witch's foot or raven's foot, which is a picture of the goddess. finally waking up. There is no goddess. It's a false, wicked understanding of Satan. But they say this goddess, this Mary, whoever you want to call her, this false Mary, she's going to awake and bring this cleansing and get rid of the traditional ways of life. Obviously, the cleansing will probably come because you'll be More and more required by your jobs, by other places, to give allegiance to homosexuality as a proper lifestyle. And where you don't, you will first be starved, you won't be able to work, and more and more, finally, you're just going to be persecuted. You can look at the entertainers today, Lady Gaga with her peace symbol that some articles say that she has. or whatever she is, she says, I portray myself in an androgynous way and I love androgyny. Why? I wonder why? Do you ever stop and think, I wonder why that is? I wonder how we got here. See, so many people don't even know how they got here. They wake up in the morning, they drink their caffeine and they look at the paper and they see what Lady Gaga says and they say, wow, that's nice. I wonder why she's like that. And what I'm telling you, is that these occultists have been moving the world. Not only the occultists, but the people in these secret societies have been moving the world toward through public school. They told you what they use, there's no lie. They said, we use TV, we use public school, we even use your food. We're going to make you into a homosexual and you're going to believe things and not even know why. We're going to put words in your mouth and arguments in your mouth to defend and you're not even going to know where they came from. But Isaiah tells us plainly in Isaiah 59, they have made them, what type of paths? Crooked paths! Whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. I'm telling you, when a woman becomes androgynous or a man, that is a crooked path. And let me ask you something, are homosexuals finding peace? No, they're depressed. They're committing suicide. And they're blaming it on Christians. instead of their crooked path. God says you won't find peace in your crooked, perverted ways. But they say, no, something must be wrong. We should be finding peace. There's some negative energy here somewhere. Isaiah 48, O that thou had hearkened to my commandments, then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the ways of the sea. God says peace comes through His commandments. All of His commandments. There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the what? Wicked. When you see that peace sign, say, there it is. There's the goal of this world. A bisexual, androgynous, homosexual world with people walking around thinking they're God, worshipping a mother goddess. No family, no God, no private property, no self-reliance. A great communist world government. Paul in our text desires and prays for brethren to have peace from God. And it says in 2 Thessalonians 3, the Lord of Peace. He's called the Lord of Peace. Isn't that beautiful? Satan's not the Lord of Peace, folks. The Lord of Peace himself give you peace always by what? All means. The Lord be with you all. Hey, God has a lot of means to give you peace. Isn't that beautiful? He's got a lot of commandments. And the more commandments you obey, the more you find joy and peace. It's not automatic. Look at 2 Corinthians 13. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect. Be of good comfort. Be of one mind. Live in peace. And the God of love and peace shall be with you. You say, well, I don't find peace. People say, I didn't find peace in a fundamentalist church. Really? Did you obey the preaching? If you had a pastor preaching the Word of God, go obey the Word of God. You'll find peace. But if you're kicking against it, if you won't obey what God's told you to do in the Word, you're not going to find peace. God says the double mind is unstable in all their ways. You try to live one foot sold out to God and one foot in the world, you're not going to find peace. C.S. Lewis said you'll get knocked down by both sides. You'll be miserable around Christians, you'll be miserable around the world. Psalm 72 says, Give the king thy judgment, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son. And look what he promises in verse 3. I like this. Wake up now, you'll like this. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills by righteousness. That's a good promise, isn't it? Well, I can't wait to the millennium when Jesus comes when he'll be the king. Amen. But right now, what it's saying is if leaders will serve God and I take that to be fathers, I take that to be pastors. I take that to be magistrates. Then the Bible says God will give you peace from the little hills. Boy, that's great. I want to move to some little hills. You know that? And I want to walk in God's judgments and do things God's way, walk in His righteousness, and I'm going to expect prosperity even in the little hills. You know that? It's some hard ground out there with a lot of stones and rocks, but I think God can bring prosperity and blessing to the little hills. But hey, what's the condition? His judgments and His righteousness. That's what's got to happen. Psalms 119, great peace, have they which love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. People say, I don't have great peace. How much do you love God's law? A preacher starts preaching a little bit of God's truth, and you get angry, you get upset, you puff yourself up, and I tell you what, if you have that stubborn, froward attitude, and you don't love God's law, you're not going to have great peace. But God says, I'll give you peace like rivers. I tell you what, you just start obeying my truth and loving it and just jump in with all your might and all your strength and say, I want God's law. I want to love God's truth. Oh, he'll give you a great peace. Amen. Nothing shall offend them. You're not going to fall. You're not going to backslide. You're not going to trip. Loving God's law is a key to staying holy. Isaiah 26, if you're miserable in God's law, it's no wonder you're about to trip. Amen? It's no wonder you're about to backslide. Hey, you children, you get miserable in God's ways, you're going to trip. You're going to fall. Isaiah 26, that will keep him in perfect peace. So we've had great peace, and now we have perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Hollywood. Is that what it says? Whose mind is stayed on on Thee, because He trusted in Thee. I tell you what, you trust in God, trust His ways. You say, God, I don't understand why you commanded me to do this. God says, just trust Me. I'm God. My ways are not your way. There's a way that seems, well, it just doesn't seem right, God. I know there's a way that seems right unto a man, but the way thereof is in the depths, as far as heaven is from the earth. My ways are not your way. Just trust Me, child. Acknowledge Me in all things. Lean not to thy own understanding. Just trust Me. Obey Me. and you'll find peace. Perfect peace! Isn't that beautiful? Oh, I want you to find peace. Not as the world gives it. Romans 8 says to be carnally minded is death. That's what the whole peace symbol is about. Carnal minded people trying to be God, trying to pervert and do unclean things, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. No, God made them from beginning, male and female. What God has separated, let no man... I'm going to tell you, and it's true, when God has made woman and God has made man, let no man put them together. Now, if God unites them in marriage and they become one, that's not one through androgyny. You understand that? That is God's spiritual holy unity, the way it ought to be. The devil comes to pervert what God does and brings a false unity. John 20, then said Jesus to them, Peace be unto you. As my Father has sent me, even so send I you. I give that to this church because the Bible says that He has many ways to bring peace. One of the ways He brings peace is through soul winning. Isn't that beautiful? You say, well, I just haven't experienced peace. Hey, you get out there and start leading people to Christ. You'll start smiling. You'll get happy. You'll get some peace. God promises it. Jesus says, I send you, go, you'll find peace. Oh, it's not the only way he brings peace. You can go soul winning and live like a heathen. But it is hard to do that, though. It is hard because you get out there and start leading people to Christ. It starts cleaning your life up, you know. Romans 15, now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in what? Believing. Don't you believe God's ways? Well, I just don't believe any God would command me to do something that I don't want to do. Well, that's the ways of death. You'll die with that philosophy. Hey, I've seen people die saying that type of stuff. You understand that? That's the way of death. But you believe God. You say, I'm just going to trust God. He knows what He's doing. A lot of things I don't understand. We just do it. God said to do it. I'm going to do it. And then you get the understanding. He said, if any man will do his will, then he shall know of the doctrine. You don't understand things immediately. Just believe, you'll have joy and peace. And finally, let me give you two more verses as we close today. Thank you for your patience. Philippians 4, be careful for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, that's crying out in prayer, with what? Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. So whatever you're going through, whatever stress, whatever cares, whatever troubles, put them on God, who cares for you. Cry out to God, but always remember to thank Him. Oh, that's not just being thankful, it's giving thanks. Thank God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. So the Bible says, go sow one and you'll have peace. The Bible says, obey God's commandments, you'll have peace. The Bible says, pray all the time about everything and cry out to God and put it on Him and remember to thank Him as you're praying and He'll give you peace. Isn't that beautiful? Isn't that wonderful? These people say, well, I don't have peace. I need to do drugs. I need to walk in sin. You know what? They say, well, I am a Christian, but I still don't have peace. Well, really? Well, let's go through some commandments and see how you're like. Let's see what you're doing in your life. And not only the commandments, but how's your prayer life? Are you praying? Well, I got too many problems to pray. Well, why don't you put the prophets on God? Why don't you pray? Well, I did go and tell Him all my problems. Well, did you come complaining or did you come with thanksgiving? Did you come and actually think about all that you have to be thankful for? I tell you, you start changing your attitude and start changing your ways and doing what God says, He'll give you happiness and peace, joy. That's what everybody wants. And God says it's through the old paths. Why don't you just trust me and do it my way?" And that's a good thing. He'll keep your hearts and minds. So that's your emotion and your mental state. That's everything. And there's one more thing, Philippians 4, finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things that you have both learned and received and heard and seen in me, do, and the God of who? The God of what? The God of peace shall be with you. You know what that tells me? There's a time for exposing darkness, but we expose darkness. We're careful with our words. We expose it, we show the evils, and then we get on to the truth. But you know what? If you think I sit around all day thinking about that type of stuff, if you think I just sit... You've got to get your life straight to where happy things, good things, good music... I mean, you can sit down and listen to the AM radio and I'll be depressed by the time I get to the post office. I check my email, I do stuff, but you start putting on some good old gospel music. I'm not talking about what they call gospel. I mean good, holy, sacred music, happy music. You start smiling, you start getting in a good mood, and I'm not putting my head in the sand. I expose a lot of what's going on in this world today. But your life needs to be saturated with good music, good singing, good praying, and let's concentrate on what's true and right and holy, and God says, I'll bring you peace. I'll bring you peace. So we got to be careful not letting things destroy our peace. I don't want to hide. I don't want to ignore. There's a time for reproving and exposing. But you better make sure you've got a good diet of truth. How often does the news report good things? How often do they tell you something good has happened? I have a website called FundamentalNews.com and even right there on my website, it's hard to find good things to report. Now God's doing a lot of good things and we need to do more of it. We need to do more of it. So let's reject the perversions of the world, the darkness of this world. Satan is a serpent and he brings death and he only wants to rob you and kill you.
