Understand our times is about practical Christianity. The Biblical worldview explains real life, conflict, and even wars between nations.
Of the nine theories of national conflict mentioned in this lesson, the bottom line for secular conflict is economic impact.
The most notable exception is that of Jesus Christ. Christ did not come with a worldview for economic gain. In fact, the Biblical worldview shows that Jesus suffered loss for our gain.
And it is noteworthy that other gods take pleasure in the pain and death of humans. They are appeased and the reward people when humans suffer or are sacrificed. The true and living God of the Bible takes no pleasure in human suffering and death.
