The tenth point was, man once saved by faith in Christ can never be lost. Is that a critical part of the gospel? Is the gospel that says you can be saved for a time and then lose that salvation the gospel of the scriptures? Is salvation by grace at the point of conversion than by your own works and determination to hold out after salvation? No, the salvation that we have from God is an eternal salvation and it includes everything from eternity past to eternity future and all in between. And once we've run into it at the point of conversion, it's something that is eternal. Like Ecclesiastes says, you know, as for God's work, it is forever. And salvation is God's work, is it not? From beginning to end. It's not something we attain to or we produce by anything we do. It's hardly of the grace of God. It's His doing from start to finish. And once we're saved, we can never be lost. That's why I'm glad we're not free willers, because it never ceases to amaze me. They have a free will until they say yes, and then they lose it because they can't say no, if they're one of these one-point communists you hear so much about. They believe in eternal security, but all the rest they reject. Well, The fifth point, perseverance of the saints, is one of five, and it's a part of a unit, and it's an integral part, and they all go together. And so we want to make sure we understand that once saved by faith in Christ, that is something that is permanent. The transaction that occurs is one that will never end or change. When God gives eternal life, it lasts just as long as it says it lasts, eternally. When He declares you righteous, He never at any point reverses that pronouncement. condemns. Once you're in Christ, he never takes you out again. Christ suffers no amputations from his body. There's a million ways of looking at it. Every one of them says that it's forever. Salvation is forever. But we want to look at Romans again. Romans in Genesis is how we've been proceeding. Romans, oh, chapter 5. having said that we're justified, forgiven our sins and declared righteous before God, by faith in Jesus Christ, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 2, by whom, by this Lord Jesus Christ also, so what else we have as justified believers, enjoying peace with God, access Or an entrance into, by faith. Into this grace wherein we stand. Oh, how do I stand? I'm not only saved by grace, I stand by grace. My standing is by grace. So I cannot fall from that standing because God's grace never fails or fluctuates. And so I can rejoice and hope for the glory of God. In other words, a Christian lives in the exaltation and rejoicing at the prospect of being in glory. That's what it's saying there. Hope there is the certain anticipation, looking forward to the glory of God that's promised to us and that will certainly be ours. It's not a hope as the world uses it, an uncertainty. It's a sure hope. It's an unfailing hope, you know, it's a good hope by grace. It's an everlasting hope and it's a hope that make it not ashamed He goes on and says in verse 5, but verse 11 says Not only so but we also join God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have now received the atonement and We have now received an atonement that is fully paid for our sins forever, and for all our sins. And a particular redemption, an effectual atonement, one that will certainly redeem and bring to glory all those for whom it was offered up. And we join that. That's triumphant faith. That's the assurance of salvation. That's knowing what God has done for us in Christ and resting in that fact by faith and enjoying the fruit of it. The certainty of salvation. That brings great confidence. Verse 21, that as sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace reign. Grace has conquered sin. It's greater than all our sin. Now, sin has been dethroned. Death is no longer held before us. as a terror or a prospect. Now grace reigns through righteousness, and the righteousness that Christ wrought for us by his obedient life and substitutionary death, and it's unto eternal life. Grace reigns, and nothing's going to knock it off its throne. And so by Jesus Christ our Lord, through the righteousness of God, by faith in Him, we have the assurance of eternal life. That's what chapter 6, 23 says. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God's gift is eternal life. And it comes to us through Jesus Christ our Lord and you know what the Bible says about the gifts of God verse 27 of chapter 11 of Romans this is my covenant unto them God has made a holy covenant sworn with an oath and it's a covenant that will not be broken it's a covenant all it's requirements have been fully met by Christ both on God's side and ours. It's an everlasting covenant, an unbreakable covenant, an unfailing covenant. And the covenant is when I shall take away their sins. That's what it provides for them. And what's the one thing that keeps someone out of heaven? Sin. And if all your sin has been taken away, what's going to keep you out of heaven? Nothing. The gospel is so simple. So if salvation means your sins are forgiven, how are you going to go to hell if your sins are forgiven if it's only your sins that can put you in hell? I can't figure that one out. A lot of people have it figured out better than me, but I don't want to learn that lesson. I want to stay blissfully ignorant, especially when it's ignorant based on the truth, which isn't ignorance at all. But anyway, is that being cocky? Is that being presumptuous? When you can say, my sins are forgiven, I have eternal life, I'm going to heaven, without fail, by the grace of God? Is that boastful? Arrogant? No, that's just believing God, right? He says that, why should I question Him? That's what He told me, so that's good enough for me. He says, as concerning the Gospel, speaking of Israel as a nation, They are enemies for your sakes, but as touching the election, they are beloved for the Father's sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. By the gift of God's eternal life, he'll never change his mind and take his gift back. If I can say it reverently, God is no Indian giver. And if he's given you salvation, that is a permanent possession. He never, well, the only thing that can keep us from heaven is condemnation verse 1 of chapter 8 says there is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus I don't have to go through this a lot Dale Nevelizer did that for us he says how the law the spirit of life in Christ Jesus that made me free from the law of sin and death He says, in verse 10, if Christ be in you, this body is dead because of sin. We still have a mortal body. We suffer physical death and sickness and other things. But the Spirit is life. We have life in our soul, the life of God, eternal life. And the Spirit is life because of righteousness, because of our justification through Christ's work. If the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit which dwelleth in you. Now we are sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. He's the earnest of the purchased possession that we are looking forward to, our inheritance in heaven. So many verses that you can look at. Well, Romans 8 is a good place to stay. Verse 18 tells us, or verse 16 tells us how the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. And God never casts away His children. He never renounces and throws them out of the house. If children then were heirs, then we're guaranteed an inheritance, which is heaven. Heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ. And we're earnestly expecting the manifestation of the sons of God, looking forward to the return of Christ in glory. And we'll be glorified with him. You go all the way through. Of course, the great verses are started in verse 28 about, you know, the Spirit helps us in our infirmities through life. He maintains us and, you know, keeps us, enables us to carry on. But God works all things together for our good because he foreknew us and predestinated us. You know, God's eternal decree and purpose is that we be brought to heaven and made in the image of his son. Nothing's going to frustrate that purpose. If he predestinated us, verse 30 says, he called us. If he called us, he justified us. He justified us, he glorified us. So if God is for us, who can be against us? You know, no one can lay anything to the charge of God's elect because God's justified us. No one can condemn us because Christ died and even rose again, and is even at the right hand of God making intercession for us. And so nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, which the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. We're going to be there if we're a believer in Christ. And nothing's going to prevent it. Want to see a good example of that in Genesis? Enoch, a man who lived In an evil day, like our own, he was definitely in the minority. Genesis chapter 5 says how Enoch, verse 21, lived 60 and 5 years and begat Methuselah. And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah 300 years. Evidently, that was the point of his conversion. Saved at 65, somehow the birth of his son really turned his thoughts and hearts toward God. God used that to call him. Walked with God 300 years and began sons and daughters. And all the days of Enoch were 360 and five years. And Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him. Walked with God 300 years, what was the end of his walk? Where'd he end up? in heaven, his destination. He arrived home safe. He walked with God and then he walked to God. God took him alive from the earth into glory without dying. One of the two individuals who had that privilege, him and Elijah. But he's a great example of the certainty of salvation. If we're truly converted, we will walk with God in holiness and faith. And eventually, we will be with God in eternity to enjoy his presence forever. Which brings us to the next point. How do I know I'm really on the path that's going to bring me there? Well, because it's a path that is marked by certain characteristics. It's a path of holiness. Now, it's not I'm saved. No, I can live as I please. And then I don't have anything to worry about. I'll be in heaven no matter what. That's not the teaching of the gospel. We're saved not only from the penalty of sin, but the power of sin. And we're not only saved from a life of sin, but to a life of holiness. And that is an absolute essential of the gospel. That's something Romans 8 didn't bring out as much. It did in the first part, but when it mentions the five steps of God's work of salvation, It jumps from the moment of our faith and conversion we're justified to glorify. It brings us to heaven. But there's a life in between, normally, and it's a life of sanctification. And the rest of Romans 8 talks about it, mainly the first part. But Romans 6, the whole chapter, which I'm not going to read, what is the true and unavoidable fruit of justification? Holiness. It begins by saying, what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. Shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein? All right, the work of Christ for us, the work of the Spirit in us, has made full provision for a new life. We're to walk in newness of life, verse four says, having been raised up with Christ from the dead. And that's a life of holiness. You know, the whole rest of the verse This and the next chapter talk about it. Chapter 7 brings out the fact that it's a life of struggle and conflict against sin, and yet one in which sin is conquered and holiness prevails, even though there are points when we do fall and fail because we have not a perfect walk, but at least a primarily holy walk. And it says were delivered from the law, our old husband, that we should now bring forth fruit to God, and serve him in newness of spirit, and such as that. So Romans 7 tells us that it was by Jesus Christ that we are delivered from the body of death, the sinful flesh, and enabled to live as God would have us to live. But you know, chapter 6, over and over again, verse 14's a great verse. Sin shall not have dominion over you. That's a statement of fact to believers. For you are not under the law, but under grace. And then he talks about, so do not let sin reign in your mortal body to obey the lusts thereof. It takes conscious effort, utilizing the provisions God has given us to strive against sin and overcome. and be enabled by the Spirit to live lives of holiness. Walk in the Spirit. You don't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Don't yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin. Yield yourselves unto God as those who are alive and the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. It says you were the servants of sin. But God be thanked. You have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered to you. You believe the gospel. You used to yield your members, servants, to uncleanness and to iniquity. Now yield your members, servants, to righteousness, to holiness. Being made free from sin, verse 22, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life. Notice that. You've embraced the gospel with a wholehearted faith. That has resulted in the power of the gospel being unleashed in your life. Once you're freed from the guilt of sin, that sets you free from the power of sin. As long as we're under the guilt of sin, we're always enslaved by sin. Once the guilt and condemnation of sin is removed, then the power of sin in its dominion is broken, and now we have a new nature from God that enables us by the Holy Spirit to live as we should. We're made free from sin, Now we become servants to God as opposed to being servants to sin as we once were. Now God is bearing fruit in our lives. Remember I said we've been set free so we can bring forth fruit unto God and it's a fruit unto holiness. And the end is everlasting life. Notice that. Holiness ends in everlasting life, not continuance in sin. That ends in eternal damnation. So we have to be careful. of how we live. I'll give you a good one, Romans 13. I'm not even reading all the verses from Romans on these points, it's full of these kind of things. Verse 11, that knowing the time, that now it's high time to wake out of sleep, for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is for our strength, the day is at hand, Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness. Let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk honestly as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying as those who know not God. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof. Let's live unto the Lord, who died for us and rose again, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Now we have to look at an individual again in Genesis. Now that's the reproach of modern-day Arminian eternal security. This whole carnal Christianity concept, you can be saved, and know you're going to heaven, so you have nothing to worry about, but it doesn't matter how you live, you can live a worldly sinful life and still feel that you're okay and you're going to make it in the end. That is not the teaching of the Bible. That's why a lot of people are turned off, especially people in some circles as holiness and Pentecostal people. They see that as a Baptist doctrine. And it turns their stomach, and well it should. That's a horrible doctrine. It's a heresy. And we don't want to ever give them that impression. The minute you believe in Christ, you're forgiven all your sins forever and you're as sure of heaven as if, you know, if you were to die that moment, you'd be with the Lord. Because that's entirely based on what Christ did. But if you live any time in this world, you better believe He's going to change your life to make you a new person in Christ and bring you from sin to holiness. That is a certainty. And that's something we must never fail to emphasize. Genesis 6, verse 5. Again, it was an evil day. Just like our own. God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air, for it repented me that I have made them. Or the worldwide sinful condition that was manifesting itself in very violent, vile, and evil behavior. To the point where only one man and his family were spared from the general contagion. But, uh, you ever wonder how the Lord can come back and destroy the whole world? You ever seen sin getting so pervasive into every area and it seems like nothing's escaping it? We're just, God's allowing sin to run its course for whatever time he sees fit. He can come back and the whole world's gonna be destroyed as it was in the days of Noah, except by fire instead of by flood. And that's what we see. I'm not saying we're in the generation it's gonna happen. God can turn it around, bring a revival and change the whole face of things. That's up to him when and how, but it's not hard to understand how God can come back and destroy the world. But when you look around, It's very easy to understand and sometimes you wonder how he has it yet, but it's getting that way again very pervasive General almost universal except for some few pockets that are different because of God's grace is still here. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord Verse 9. All right. He was saved by the grace of God while others were left to their sin and his punishment and These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations. He was sincere and wholehearted. And Noah walked with God just like Enoch. Verse 1 of chapter 7. The Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark, for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of course he saw him in Christ, that's why he saw him as righteous. He was righteous by the grace of God, but being made righteous by God's grace in Christ, what did Noah do? Walked with God and lived a just, a righteous life before God and before men. So never say, I can't help it. Everyone else is doing it, so I have to too. It's too hard. I'm the only one. Nothing's too hard for the grace of God. His grace is sufficient, right? Noah was saved by grace. He walked with God. He was a righteous man. He lived a holy life. And he was the only one. And we can too, even if we feel like we're the only one, wherever we might be. And so, again, Noah is an example of how we're saved by grace. But the grace of God does not just save us from hell. It teaches us that denying our ungodliness and our worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present evil world, looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is coming. He says when he does come it'll be as it was in the days of Noah, right just like that And his word is always true So we see it So those are the 11 points I had down in that are integral to the gospel Probably shouldn't clue in there while you believe now you should be baptized because seems like the the Apostles always mentioned that in their presentation and you don't see it when philip was preaching christ from isaiah but evidently it was there because he said see here's water what does hinder me to be baptized he knew he needed to be if he was a believer and uh not not to confuse people and make them think they have to be baptized to be saved but certainly that they should know that's what god requires of them having come to faith all right are you ready to do uh one verse from each place that we haven't looked at and then maybe see it in a single view and show also that it's something the whole Bible teaches first point was that man was created by a personal God and he knows it and that this God is a holy God who hates sin Acts 14 someone want to read 14 to 17 Jordan you got it X 14 Verses 14 through 17 They this is where Paul is in a Place called Lystra of Lycaonia, and he heals a man who was lame and crippled from his mother's womb, and he never walked. It gives him the ability to walk back by the power of God. And the people responded by thinking that these were gods come to earth as men, and they were about to sacrifice to them. Of course, they were worshipers of the pagan gods. But Paul and Barnabas prevented them by saying, in verse 14 to 17, We've been running this house for one million calls. While we're at that, there were regressive storms that rained in the house, and people tried to get out fast, but they didn't. Why do you think we need this? We also are aware of the threat to the community. For instance, we knew that we could have a wave of humanity, but we don't have that. We know that our neighbors are concerned, and we have Remember Romans 1? The whole creation witnesses to the existence of God. And men know that there is a God, and something about His nature, by the things that He's made. And yet they've turned from that knowledge, and they have not liked to retain this Creator God in their knowledge, and instead, they have worshipped and served the creature, rather than the Creator. In other words, they know that there is a true and living God, and they have turned their backs on Him, and they have made his incorruptible image into the image of idols, and they worship them rather than God, and so they're without excuse. And yet, as they're doing this, what does God do? He continues the rain, and the sun, and the blessings of food, and harvests, and such, to turn men back to himself. And yet, they go on. And many times he allows them just to go on. He says he'd left the nations to go in their own ignorant ways. Just left them. Go ahead. That's what you want? You can have it. I'll leave you to your own ways and see if you like what that's going to bring. And of course they won't. Man is accountable to God for his actions. Ecclesiastes. Ecclesiastes chapter 12, 13 and 14. Someone want to read that? All right, Steve, please ask it. You probably want to read 11.9. You can read that, too, if you want. 12, verses 13 and 14. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep this commandment, for this is the whole of the commandment. For God shall bring every word with gesture, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. And what's the conclusion of the whole? What is the whole of man? One thing, fear God. I don't care what else there is out there. It doesn't matter. Only one thing matters, fear God. Keep His commandments and everything else is... So what? Yeah, all those other things come in as you obey God, but that's all that really matters. Because we're gonna have to be judged by Him someday. For everything. And there's no secrets withheld from God. And the reason that's frightening is because of the next point. Man is a lost sinner before God. Ecclesiastes 7.20. We're right there. That's a convenient place. Ecclesiastes 7.20. Yeah, go ahead. So there is not a just man upon the earth that he was with and said not. Not one. Not a single just man, by nature, upon the earth that does good by his own innate ability, and can claim to be without sin. Not one. God, remember, hates sin, and must judge it, and he cannot permit any sin into his heaven, so man is lost. He is guilty, condemned, and on his way to hell. A lot of verses that would tell that. We can look at Psalms for a couple of them. Psalms 130 in verse 3. Yes, Robert? Remember how we talked about we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand? Well, if we're strangers to the grace of God, if we are standing before God in our sin, apart from His grace, we cannot stand because our sin will not permit it. The wicked will not stand in the judgment. They will fall. They will be brought down by the hand of God. If God was to bring our sins to the light, hold them against us and deal with us as they deserve, no one would stand. You know, like Psalm 143.2 says, just for a confirmation of that. Enter not into judgment with thy servant, for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. No man justified, all condemned by nature, by action, facing a literal, eternal, intolerable hell. And all that means. But we also know that man is helpless to remedy his lost estate He can do nothing to save himself by his good works Isaiah 64 Paul Even our very righteousnesses are filthy rags. For by grace are you saved through faith, and not of yourselves. It's the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. So, since we cannot save our own selves by our own works, God provided salvation for a sinful man by giving his son Jesus Christ to shed his blood and die on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sins, and to rise again from the dead the third day. That's what we needed for our salvation. That's what Jesus did, and everything that is necessary for our being brought back to God is accomplished. 1 Corinthians 15. If someone would like to read the first four verses they may First Corinthians chapter 15 Verses 1 through 4 Okay, Liz Yes Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preach so here, which also he hath received in a rare understanding. I wish also that he would say, which he speaketh then of, why I preach unto you in Washington, that we live in vain. My deliverance be first of all that which I receive, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scripture. There it is. That is the good news that was preached and by which men are saved through believing. Right? That's the gospel in a nutshell. So having heard this gospel and recognizing his sin and lost his faith, man must repent of his sin. Turn from it. Acts 17. If someone wants to read that. 30 and 31. Act 17, 30 and 31. Okay, Ruth. Is it time for this business to stop, isn't it? All right, repent, turn from your sin and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved or face that Lord Jesus as your judge who will damn you because of your unbelief. In other words, deal with Christ now while it is a day of mercy. You may have been in ignorance to this point, but you can plead ignorance no more. God says, turn from your sin or be destroyed. And that's a serious threat that will be carried out. So we need to put our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That's Acts 16, 30 and 31. Very simple statement, but so complete and full of important truth. He brought them out and said, sirs, what must I do to be saved? At least the man recognized it was such a thing as being saved and his need for that. Not so many people even get that far. But he didn't know how. And he asked, how? What must I do? And they said, believe on, not believe just in, A lot of people believe in Jesus Christ in the various forms and degrees that He existed or whatever. But believe on Him. Make Him your trust. Put your whole weight on Him and Him alone for your hope of eternal life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved in thy house. You know, Jesus said these things too. He said, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. And he said, this is the work of God that you believe on Him and we have sinned. He that believes on me has everlasting life. Over and over and over, this is what the gospel calls on men to do. We must receive Jesus Christ in prayer. Take Him as Lord and Savior. Not leave Him at arm's length outside, but receive Him in to our hearts and lives. John 1. verse 12 and 13. A lot of people have Jesus Christ as a concept out there, not as a living person within them. And it's Christ in you is the hope of glory. You won't save anyone that he does not indwell. John 1 verses 12 and 13. Okay, Daniel. That of course brings out the necessity for regeneration. We have to be born again so that we might be able to believe in Christ and know who He is and receive Him as such. No, I couldn't believe it. I was listening to an Arminian station for the news And after the news, they gave their daily verse. And they were reading this verse out of a different translation. And it said something like, not by human descent, nor by human decision, nor by the free will of man. I like that version. I don't usually like it. And it was almost like the guy sounded like he was choking on it. I can't believe I'm saying that. But it was, that was actually the way they translated it. Not by human decision. Or by free will of man, I think was the way it was read. Amen. Oh, once saved by faith in Christ, we can never be lost. Jesus promised that in John 10. John 10 verses 27 through 30. Anyone like to read that? Paul. Why should you fear my voice? I know them, they follow me, and I am under them, and I learn, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man touch the blood of my hand. Can't stop without that Yeah Well, Jesus gives him eternal life who's gonna take it from him or make him take it back If he says he'll never perish, how will they ever perish? If he says nothing can pluck him out of his hand, who's going to do it? I'll never forget arguing my cousin who eventually became a priest and was trying to convince me there was no internal security. He says, well, no one can pluck you out of his hand, but you can jump out. Well, no, that part of it. You're a man. And he says, no one can pick you out of his hand. You can't pick yourself out of his hand either. So anyway. Man is saved from the power of sin. to live a life of holiness. Many verses, you know, for my grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it's the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Created in Christ Jesus unto good works, ordained of God from eternity for us to walk in. He takes our feet out of the path of sin, and sets them on the straight and narrow road, we will walk in good works. I quoted Titus 2. Why don't we read 11 to 14 of Titus 2 to close with. Titus 2, 11 to 14. Remember, sin and misery are inseparable companions, and the only true Synonym for happiness is holiness. There's no happiness in sin The only happiness is found in holiness. That's the only way to have a blessed life To live a life of without sin at least as far as that's Possible in this life, but eventually completely in heaven. That's why heaven is perfect bliss that will be perfectly delivered from sin Titus 2 11 to 14 Okay, Steve? Teaching us that denying you Godliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope in the glorious spirit of grace, God in our Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all infidelity and purify us unto himself of the pure evil, tell us the Word. Right? What did all that was the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Verse 11. Teaching us. It's our instructor. shows us how to live a holy life. It keeps us looking for eternity and not being caught up in the world. And it makes us zealous of good works as God's own peculiar people, His own possession, His purchased ones, those He redeemed, His elect. And we should be, if we are truly redeemed, showing ourselves zealous, zealous for good works, and certainly one of the primary good works that we should be zealous for is evangelism, soul winning, bringing the gospel to people. And when it's all said and done, and the world has come to its end, and all the works of man have been burnt up, and all there is is Jesus Christ on his throne with all the men of all history assembled before him, what's the one question that's going to matter? What did you with Christ? What did you with Christ? Not what school did you go to, or who did you marry, how many kids did you have, or what job did you do? What did you with Christ? And then how did that impact your life from there? If you're here tonight without Jesus Christ, I hope you cannot continue without Him. This is what God tells us over and over throughout the scripture again and again. And why should we tell God no and refuse His offer when He holds it out to us so freely and so mercifully? God give us grace to come to Christ and believe on Him for salvation.
