Today was a great and terrible day of ministry. Compelled by grace and truth, seven men and women went down to the Lovejoy Surgicenter and contended for the precious lives of unborn children and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They were cursed, reviled, blessed, and encouraged by the hundreds who passed by.
The terrible reality is that many children died today. I’m not sure that our pleadings saved a single life. Yet, I praise God that His love was manifest toward those children and their parents through BGBC’s Abortion Clinic Evangelism. I praise God that someone was at Portland’s premier baby murdering facility declaring their humanity and crying out for their lives to be cherished and celebrated by their parents, not violently ended: “Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die” (Proverbs 31:8). I praise God for the many Christians who drove by and said, "Thank you for being here." I praise God for the Gospel that went forth.
Many parents became the parents of murdered children today. They heard the Law and the Gospel. Pray that they will repent and be saved. Pray for laborers to enter the killing fields of America’s abortion clinics to open their mouths for the speechless. Pray for pastors, elders, and churches to get in the fight for life taking place daily.
