Calamity may oftentimes surround us, and we are so frequently tempted to despair. The dire straits we find ourselves in are so much more than we can handle, so much more pressing than we can see a clear path through, we are so easily brought to the end of ourselves... but beloved of God, understand this in the marrow of your soul: your God is on His throne and is completely unshaken! There is no power on earth, in heaven, in all creation which can upset your Heavenly Father. All is as it has been ordained since before time began... His hand is mightier than the fiercest trials, His throne so unchangeably established that the greatest storms are mere wavelets, lapping at His toes, the greatest floods are drops on His fingers... rest in the truth that the hope we have in Him surpasses our needs, always! No matter what you face this day, understand that God is more, your Father is greater than all of these, your deliverer is mighty to save!!! My dear precious child; praise the Name which is your safe harbor in the violent assault, let Him be your refuge and your strength!!
