There is a story told in a frontier town that a young boy was in a run-away wagon. A man came along and heroically rescued the boy from that wagon and saved his life. However, the little boy was a scoundrel and grew up to be a very bad, lawless man. Eventually, he was arrested and faced death by hanging.

As he was standing before the judge, he realized the judge was the man who had once saved his life. Since at one time the man had saved his life, the lawless man said, “Would you please spare me the consequence of death?”

The judge thought for a minute and said, “At one time I was your savior, but now I am your judge.”

If you have not put your faith in Jesus as your Savior, accepting Him as the only way to Heaven, then you need to realize that you cannot save yourself and throw yourself at His mercy. You will find that He has already paid the penalty for your sins. He wants to save you. All you have to do is say “yes” to Him.

If you do not do that in this life here on earth, you will stand before Him at what is called the Great White Throne Judgment. That will not be a judgment to determine Heaven or Hell; that will be a judgment to determine the severity of Hell. Hell is Hell. Everyone appearing before the Judge at the Great White Throne Judgment will be cast into an eternal lake of fire. But He does not have to be your Judge – He wants to be your Savior. You must receive that; you must accept that as the penalty paid for your sins.

He is coming again in great glory. His feet will touch down on that very spot on the Mount of Olives. He will enter the Eastern Gate on that white horse, and the Bible also says in Revelation 19 that the saints dressed in white will be with Him. If you have always dreamed of going to Israel, you will get to go if He is your Savior. It will be greater than any tour I could put together. Make sure you are ready to meet Him.
