Happy Thanksgiving and Blessed Advent Season from Pastor Adrian
We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks!
For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.
For exaltation comes neither from the east
Nor from the west nor from the south.
7 But God is the Judge:
He puts down one,
And exalts another.
8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup,
And the wine is red;
It is fully mixed, and He pours it out;
Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth
Drain and drink down.
9 But I will declare forever,
I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
(Psalm 75:1, 6-9)
It doesn’t matter what people think of you, as long as you are looking to the revelation of God in Jesus Christ as your source and strength, you will never be disappointed.
People can be a source of disappointment and sorrow, but God will always be the one who sticks closer than a brother. Don’t have faith in faith; faith is nothing without an object of that faith. And the object of your faith should be placed upon Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We’re thankful for the opportunity to minister to a wonderful community of people who are interested in learning more about the Savior, and invite you to listen to our services, particularly if you have questions about faith in general and Christianity in particular.
There is never a time that you're too old, too young or too busy to learn about the awesome glory of the only wise God who has redeemed us for Himself. Worship without knowledge is idolatry, and many people these days worship what they do not understand.
As the proverbs 4:7(b) says, "In all thy getting, get understanding."
