I just wanted to mention how much I appreciate the part of the Body of Christ that my daughter and her husband have joined. I have had opportunity to participate in a small group Bible Study and in a Worship Service with the Kodiak Bible Chapel, in Kodiak Alaska. What a blessing it was.

Over the years (27 and counting) we have had a number of families who were stationed in Kodiak with the Coast Guard, who later were transferred (or retired) to the Sequim WA area who have joined our church. I count it a privilege to have had the opportunity to partner with Kodiak Bible in the continuing discipleship of their members.

Now, having had opportunity to visit, I can easily see why people from Kodiak fit in so quickly and well with people from Peninsula Evangelical Friends Church. We share so much in common in how we approach the Scriptures and Ministry, that the transition from one congregation to the other is fairly easy.

I am so grateful for the way KBC has taken in and cared for my own family members. It is good to know that they are attending a place of worship where they will not only be cared for, but where they are encouraged to find a place of ministry.

KBC, like PEFC, has been going through a very rough period for the past couple years. We have counted it a privilege to pray for the congregation and its leaders. I also know that they have been praying for my family (throughout my wife's battle with cancer) and for our congregation. It is such a privilege to partner with these people in prayer and ministry.

I pray God's sustaining Word and richest blessings upon the people of Kodiak and upon this congregation (KBC). May the Lord multiply your ministry as you continue to look to Him in all things.
