Theological Storm: Federal Vision Critiqued
Defense of the Biblical doctrine of justification by faith alone should be the ready stance of all believers. This includes not merely explaining it but also critiquing those views undermining it. Such views have come to the fore in the last few years and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church has meet its challenge. Creating a study committee to critique the Federal Vision, the OPC has commended the report to her churches. The OPC encouraged a proactive stance against any all such doctrines. We at Providence OPC already meet that challenge. One professor on the committee graciously presented the findings at our annual Spring Conference . His lectures will be uploaded in the upcoming days. Here is the first one .
The issues he is dealing with are simply the beginning of a theological fire-storm--a battle with indelible lines drawn. A theological storm has been brewing over the horizon these last few years--is the church ready? Are you prepared?
