Are You a Father or a Fool?
It is not rare to meet a man who thinks that bringing up children is a woman's job. This has a devastating effect on a family and even an entire society, nation, and on history. Studies have shown that more than seven out of ten children who grow up fatherless end up in misery, addiction, crime, prison. This reinforces the biblical truth that fathers must take the lead in parenting. Wisdom is the quality the writer of the Proverbs desired to see in his children. Those who didn't take his instruction could be considered fools. Fathers who don't take the opportunity to father their children, could also be considered fools. Are you a father or a fool?
