Jessica is now 3 months old. She is doing fantastic! It's a blessing to watch her grow. Time is flying by so fast.
We have been working with the nutritionist to get Jessica to gain more weight. It has been working. Her formula is now 50% more concentrated than what is normally given. It must be much sweeter because she is just guzzling it down. She is now 8 pounds 10 ounces. Just a little over 2 pounds past her birth weight. I think most of it has gone to her cheeks. :)
Jessica is still playful. She is making more sounds now. She especially likes to sing. She is discovering her body. She likes to run her fingers through her hair, pull on her ear, pinch her growing cheeks, lock her toes together, and see if her fist will fit in her mouth.
Jessica is getting used to going out. We don't go out often because of the heat. She mainly goes to church and church events. She really likes the car rides, but what baby doesn't?
We will be going to San Francisco for her follow-up appointment on the 18th. We will nail more details down about when and where the surgery will be (who will do it) and exactly what type of surgery needs to be done. Please keep this in your prayers. We really appreciate it.
