Not much new to report. Since our last hospital visit, I decided to stop monitoring my contractions. The process was causing more anxiety than it was worth. I felt like I was able to induce a contraction just by anticipating it. I'm still having them, but I don't feel like they have changed. It's been somewhat liberating just coexisting with them without having to concern myself with them.

We had an ultrasound yesterday. Things are still looking okay. We will see the doctor this coming Tuesday. Hopefully, her exam will also show that things are stable.

I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping over the last several days. I stay up all night and only get a couple hours of sleep here and there during the day. I think I have too much stored up energy to get quality sleep. My mind and my body are restless. This is leaving me too tired to do anything productive, but I guess it is not necessary for me to be productive right now. I just set too many goals for myself.

Since I didn't watch very much TV prior to this, I don't have any shows that I am following. We are enjoying the NBA playoffs, but that will be over soon. Anyone who knows me knows that my favorite player is Peja Stojakovic. He was injured in recent seasons, but has played well this year on the New Orleans Hornets. Since our team did not make the playoffs, we are rooting for the Hornets who have taken everyone by surprise so far. They are playing very well as a team with Chris Paul at the point. We'll see how far they make it. I usually have the Food Network on in the background the rest of the time. I'm not sure why I do this because it makes me crave food...especially food that I shouldn't be eating. I just don't like searching for programming and they usually have something interesting on.
