We gather this day to honor the King, Who sits on His throne, His triumphs we sing; The Savior who died to atone for our sin Came forth from the tomb and He liveth again.
Christ Jesus the Lord the battle has won, He died and arose, all praise to the Son! He took on Himself all our debt to repay, The sins of His people are all washed away.

Debbie and I will be traveling to Ruston, LA, this week where I will be preaching next weekend (5/4 – 5/7) for Pastor Richard Warmack and our brethren at Grace Baptist Church. Brother Mark Pannell will be preaching here next Sunday (5/7) in both services. Please pray for Debbie and me as we travel and that God will bless us in our meeting next week. THE COMMON SALVATION (Jude 3)
All believers have this in common – We all trust for righteousness in Christ alone. We are accepted in the Beloved. If you have any hope which disturbs, diminishes, or destroys the glory of His grace and power of His righteousness, the sooner you get rid of it the better. We must not detract in any degree from the complete glory and power of Christ in the redemption of His people. In salvation, as in all things concerning a right relationship with God and eternal life, Christ is all! –Copied
Believer, if the Bible is not God’s holy, verbally-inspired, inerrant Word to His people, then we have no foundation upon which to base our faith and assurance. TRUE REPENTANCE OR UNBELIEF?
The one who believes that he cannot be saved due to the severity of his sins is no closer to the kingdom of God than the man who believes that his own righteousness and works can save him. The first man may look like a truly repentant person, but he is not. The only difference is that the first man is waiting for some improvement in himself to make him worthy of salvation while the second man believes he has already attained that improvement. But this they have in common – Neither one is trusting Christ, neither one has received and submitted to the imputed righteousness of Christ as the only ground of salvation. If they had, they would rest in Christ, knowing that God is just to justify sinners based on Christ’s merits alone. If they had, based on Christ having satisfied law and justice on their sinner's behalf, they would truly repent of ever thinking that our sins could keep us from salvation or that our obedience could recommend us unto God. They also have this in common – They shall alike perish if they do not trust Christ, for the Scriptures say, "He that does not believe is condemned already." The reason that a man does not believe is of no consequence, only the fact that he does not believe. Do not be fooled by outward displays of humility expressed in mournful despair. The Scriptures say, "Whoever believes on Christ will not perish but have eternal life." Therefore, any and every reason men give for unbelief is simply self-righteousness. So, right now, be done with any hope you have in anything other than the imputed righteousness of Christ, without the deeds of the law, according to God's promise. Look for no qualifications in yourself ever, but look wholly on Him who has already met all the qualifications and fulfilled all conditions for His people. –Copied
