Ben Carson declares ‘God is still in charge' after surviving COVID-19
Nearly two weeks after testing positive for COVID-19, Dr. Ben Carson, U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, believes he’s “out of the woods at this point” and is confident that “together we will be victorious” as “God is still in charge.”
“I have several co-morbidities and after a brief period when I only experienced minor discomfort, the symptoms accelerated and I became desperately ill,” the 69-year-old retired pediatric neurosurgeon shared on his Facebook page Friday.
Carson, a member of the White House coronavirus task force, said President Trump was following his condition and “cleared me for the monoclonal antibody therapy that he had previously received, which I am convinced saved my life.”...

It is a remarkable verse, fellow pilgrim. And it can be applied in every situation, no matter what is happening. I know someone for whom the verse means a lot, and she lives a life of continual thanksgiving; it is very noticeable, and a most wonderful thing to behold, when compared to the negativity of most. The effect on myself is most edifying, and I seek to apply the exhortation every day.

I have one exhortation that I remind myself of continually, and if I could only do this one thing without wavering, it would make me a very happy man. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV (18) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. It reminded me of a woman I read about once, whom the Lord seemed to have gotten into a position of peaceful resignation, and to all intents and purposes she seemed to be able to give thanks to God, not only in all circumstances, but even for them, seeing every thing as an expression of God's love to her.

2Cor 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.“ ......... 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.“
Frank wrote: Brother, I understand and agree with your thought. If God is all loving and sovereign, then we can thank Him for any circumstances we are put through. A perfect example is the Apostle Paul praised the Lord regardless of his circumstances and his suffering. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” 1 Peter 3:17 “For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.” I have personally not conquered the above.

It's a short video by Reuters (2+ minutes long) and is even automatically captioned. The sound option was sort of hard to work with my tablet and I had to hit the speaker emblem a couple times to make sure it came on.
It is from the main medical facility in Nebraska, in the country for that matter.
There is nothing that God has said that we aren't supposed to use common sense ❗👍😷
Like Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell, Carson should have avoided White House meetings ❗👎
Matthew 15:16-20
16. And he said, Are you also still without understanding? 17. Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? 18. But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. 19. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. 20. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone. ---ESV

Carson would have stated that God is sc till in charge if he had not got out of the woods.
