Franklin Graham expresses 'great concern' over Dems' abortion advocacy
Franklin Graham, the chief of the global Christian ministry Samaritan's Purse, says Christians should have "great concern" over the Democrat Party's lineup in this year's presidential election.
Because of the unqualified support for abortion from both presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden, who says he is Catholic, and his running mate, Kamala Harris, who reports being Baptist.
It had taken literally no time at all this week when Biden announced his selection of Harris, a senator who while she was attorney general in California launched a formal state attack on undercover journalists who revealed Planned Parenthood's baby body parts for sale scheme, for pro-life groups to express their opposition....
This past Sunday at my Baptist Church the sermon was given by Pastor Steve(who is back) and was titled "The King of The World" from Luke 1:32-33 and John 18:36. The sermon was about how Jesus is the King of the world. And it was also about what it means that Jesus is the King:We are not in charge, We are royalty, We have a reason to go on living today and Obedience to King Jesus is not optional. Pastor Steve gave an Altar Call at the end of the sermon for those that were watching online and present in church who have not yet given their life to Jesus as Lord and Savior.
""Joe Biden, who says he is Catholic, and his running mate, Kamala Harris, who reports being Baptist.""
Whats in a name? Whats in a religion? Whats in politics? Whats in a voters conscience?
The proposed VP is Abortion Harris. Nobody with morals should vote Democrat. How many voters have no morals?
In the Westminster Dictionary it states that religion should not dictate a persons moral standards..... "Religion and morality are not synonymous. Morality does not necessarily depend upon religion, though for some, this is "an almost automatic assumption." According to The Westminster Dictionary of Christian Ethics, religion and morality "are to be defined differently and have no definitional connections with each other. Conceptually and in principle, morality and a religious value system are two distinct kinds of value systems or action guides." (Wiki)
Thus politicians are freed from the constraints of traditional moral standards.
Well I’m sure he is under a 501C3 and if he wants to keep that status he will not go too far in his criticism. I don’t believe any church or Christian charitable organization should be under this man-made restriction. Below is from the internet.
Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes.
