Survivors of Coronavirus Face an Uncertain Road Back to Normal
Many of the guidelines focus on symptoms, but some patients have symptoms so mild they may be imperceptible. And as many as 25% of infected people in the U.S. may be asymptomatic, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Robert Redfield recently said. Whether they are infectious is unknown, experts said. Asymptomatic patients can test positive for the virus almost a month after the initial exposure, some case reports from China and the U.S. suggest.
CDC guidelines say Covid-19 patients can discontinue home isolation if they meet these three criteria: They have been fever-free for at least 72 hours without taking fever-reducing drugs, respiratory symptoms like cough and shortness of breath have improved, and at least seven days have passed since symptoms first appeared. The agency stresses “the decision to stop home isolation should be made in consultation with your health-care provider...
This asymptomatic carrier religious doctrine is cruel, hateful, and very dangerous. Making false accusations against healthy people claiming they are "dirty" sounds like Nazi Germany on a larger scale.

That puts the asymptomatic rate in China at around 30 per cent, although there is likely a lot more asymptomatic cases who were not tested. Iceland has been testing anyone in the population who volunteers, along with people who are showing symptoms. Early results suggest roughly half of the cases in the general population are asymptomatic, but the sample size was still small when Iceland's chief epidemiologist reported these findings. South Korea's CDC director Jeong Eun-kyeong told reporters in mid-March that "Korea currently has a significantly higher rate of asymptomatic cases than other countries, perhaps due to our extensive testing". In the US, the director of the CDC told NPR [ https://tinyurl.com/tlex8sq ]the proportion of silent carriers "could be as high as 25 per cent"....
