Malaysia's Ministry for Women, Family and Community Development issued a series of online posters on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #WomenPreventCOVID19. It advised the nation's women to help with the country's partial lockdown by not nagging their husbands.

The ministry also advised women to refrain from being "sarcastic" if they asked for help with household chores. And it urged women working from home to dress up and wear makeup. ...

Personal responsibility, absolutely. I retract the first part. But, we can't deny that poor fathers and husbands do not help the situation. Not necessarily the case in this article. Lots of wiggle room and missing information. My other points stand. If she works, he does too. If he rests, she does too. Well, I don’t blame women for the sinful state of men. I think it is safe to say that from the Garden, men have become less of what God intended and women have become less than God intended.

Your comment was so far off that I actually thought you were being sarcastic. But, it looks like you were serious.

Feminist are made, not born. Feminists are made at the hands of poor fathers and husbands. Does the husband wear makeup to improve his looks for his wife? Is he changing into nice clothes or lounging around in PJs? Why should the wife be compelled to cover up what God has created for vanity? Isn't that discouraged in the Bible? Is he sitting around playing video games while she's expected to work? Is he tending to a garden or some other form of work? Double standards are not Christ like. Pick up a broom if you have nothing else to do. Work, even domestic duties, is preferred over laziness.
No, a feminist is made because their sinful natures want to be relevant in ways God didn't intend for them to be.

Like Eve, they can also try and escape blame by saying: :"The devil made me do it"

I heard a similar piece on the local news the other night. Apparently divorces in China skyrocketed after the crisis reportedly started to abate.

If men are loving their wives sacrificially in a manner like how Christ loves His Bride (Ephesians 5), a lot of this does down. But it also helps when wives focus on following their own instructions rather than trying to manage their husbands in following the instructions to husbands.

From Article::
"" It said its suggestions were simply aimed at "maintaining positive relationships among family members during the period they are working from home.""

It is interesting to look behind the "suggestions" and see how the woman is perceived in their culture!!

At least by government bureaucrats anyway!!

I can just imagine the reaction of my wife if I told her to make sure she wore her make-up when I'm at home.🤣

Thanks for the Scripture and additional counsel, Dr. Tim. The headline suggests that nagging one's husband after or outside of the lockdown is OK.

I actually did read the full article with this one. Just more feminist nonsense: women upset about having to perform domestic duties now that they're at home and that their husbands would assume the term "the head of the household" applies to them and not the wives. Well, duh!? SMH...

I was wondering how many more people will be getting divorces due to this confinement. But a good thing is that traffic accidents and deaths may go down, with people staying off the streets, esp. at night during curfews. And with less traffic, less air pollution, right?
