160-year-old Vatican newspaper succumbs to coronavirus
The Vatican daily L’Osservatore Romano, which Pope Francis has jokingly called “the party newspaper”, suspended printing for only the third time in nearly 160 years on Wednesday due to the coronavirus.

Ten copies will continue to be printed. They are for Pope Francis, former Pope Benedict, a few top officials and several to be archived for the historical record.

“We had to stop primarily because both the printers and the distributors could not guarantee their services in safe conditions because of the lockdown in Italy and the Vatican,” Monda said. ...

Tragically, politically correct politicians (and may I say churchmen) abound everywhere, and when the results of their deeds come to light, it is indeed the ordinary people who suffer terribly as a result.

I worked some years ago, in Italy for a year and three months, in and near Milan, which is now right at the heart of the Coronavirus epidemic, and in Spain a few years later for two years, in the south of the country, and both countries are now suffering greatly, and in total lockdown.

Though I have unfortunately now lost contact with the people I knew in the churches that I went to, I do now at times remember them in prayer, and hope they are alright. May the Lord bless them, and the work of the Gospel in those two countries, and I look forward to hearing good news of these countries when they have passed through this trial.

I know a few Italians who regret that hug a chinese thing, let's not beat them over the head with it, instead we need to show love, care, forgiveness, and hope. Every Italian person has lost someone dear during all of this, it's a time of mourning for many, how would you feel if I came to your funeral and paraded all of your sins?

Every society on earth has sinned and condemned the world. This world is ruled by devils, and their demonic powers. It's a kingdom of darkness, with very little light. Be a city that shines on a hill. Go love someone

On February 1st Florence, Italy Celebrated "Hug a Chinese" Day.
By Ken Webster jr
Mar 20, 2020
Here's a story that will make your head spin.

Earlier this year thousands of Chinese immigrants from the city of Wuhan traveled to North Italy for work.

reminds me of ...
1 Timothy 5:22-24 King James Version (KJV)
22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

After the new residents got settled some of the local lawmakers noticed the Chinese immigrants weren't being totally accepted by native Italians.

That's when the mayor of Florence decided we should have "Hug a Chinese" Day.

Florence even launched a 'Hug a Chinese' Day initiative after Trump announced China travel restrictions
