Nigeria: 5 churches burned, many Christians killed in Boko Haram invasion
More than 100 Boko Haram militants opened fire sporadically and indiscriminately and set churches and houses on fire, killing many people, in the town of Garkida in Gombi area of the northeastern state of Adamawa, according to initial reports.
At least five churches were destroyed, including two houses of worship belonging to the Church of the Brethren denomination, an Anglican Communion church, and a church and a separate office of Living Faith Church.
There are unconfirmed reports of possible abductions....
Nigeria would attract far more attention on this forum if Franklin Graham wanted to preach there, Brother Carl. It would seem that the mere slaughter of Christians is no big deal compared to BGEA‚Äôs marriage to Rome. It‚Äôs funny that those who so earnestly ‚Äúcontend for the faith‚ÄĚ don‚Äôt seem to care what happens to the faith in other countries.
Nigeria is an oil rich country. It needs to beef up its military and protect its citizens; its CHRISTIAN citizens. We read of massacre of Nigerian Christians in our media every other week while in Nigeria its an everyday occurrence. I have yet to read of one mosque raided or one Muslim killed by one Nigerian Christian. Where is the U.N.? Why are these Leftist human rights organizations silent when it comes to the slaughter of the saints around the world? The world treat us like aborted babies.
