Chick-fil-A 'discredited' other organisations in giving shake-up, admits chief exec Dan Cathy
Chick-fil-A chairman Dan Cathy has admitted that the fast food chain "inadvertently discredited several outstanding organizations" in a radical shake-up of its giving last November.
Chick-fil-A ended a longstanding giving partnership with The Salvation Army after coming under pressure from LGBT campaigners, a move that prompted outcry from both the organisation and Christian leaders.
Giving partnerships with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Paul Anderson Youth Home were also ended....
I have yet to see a swath of homosexuals going to a soup kitchen to feed the homeless. I have yet to see the metropolitan community church hold a blanket drive for the poor. I have yet to see a gaggle of homosexuals hold aloft a giant check for orphans or the food bank or single parents or unwed teenage girls or prisoners released from prison seeking employment. The LGBT culture does not repay to the community. Now they may take away from the community because many homosexuals do Not live a Will and Grace life. Many are homeless, many are drug addicted, many a sick, many live in abject poverty. For a community that portrays themselves as a loving and accepting community, I have seen in ministry opportunities, the homosexual community will disavow anyone with a diagnosis of HIV or hepatitis. Thus many ill people are thrown aside like trash from the people who most likely made them sick. The SALVATION ARMY doesn’t need Chic Fil A to continue its mission. They by most observations serve God and serve people. The FCA does need Chic Fil A if it’s supporting Christian athletes. The sooner nominal Christians stop thinking “Christian” corporations as having the mind of Christ, the better for the bride of Christ.

God doesn't support the sodomite agenda ......
The only reason that this chicken sandwich firm would, is to oppose the Lord's work.
He keeps His eye on the poor and needy.
Prov 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse."
Deuter 15:10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land."
1John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?"
Luke 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just."
Prov 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again."
Well, I might sympathize with ending support of FCA--Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The name itself sounds like an oxymoron since athletes seem to be getting into a lot of trouble with the law. Even a non-violent sport like golf has its Tiger Woods. And then we all know college athletics are just a prep for professional leagues. Maybe a better group to support would be the Fellowship of Christian Bus Drivers, or the Fellowship of Christian Bakers.
