Hundreds of Anglicans have called on Church of England bishops to speak out against proposals to decriminalise abortion.
The open letter was signed by 384 people, including 49 members of the General Synod, concerned over the manifesto commitments by Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
Many church leaders signed the letter, including Revd Dr Ian Paul, a member of the Archbishops’ Council, Revd William Taylor of St Helen’s Bishopsgate, and Revd Andrew Symes of Anglican Mainstream.
The Bishops' response is repulsive and sickening. I have no idea how the Church of England is government but those bishops who refuse to agree with the letter should be removed from office immediately.
I don't know too much about Anglican Church doctrine, but seems as though they who're in the Anglican faith have a different belief system than main-stream Fundamental Christians. I'll do some research, and I'll also return later to see the comments from others that may be posted on this article. God's blessings to all who stop by, new commenters as well as all the regular faithfuls whose comments almost always are a blessing to me.
